Everything was great. The sweat lodge and the shaman were inspirational and healing. The food and drinks were wonderful. The service was always helpful. The pool was cool and refreshing. The showers and bathrooms were clean. Totally enjoyable day.

We had our grandson with us on vacation, we wanted a fun adventure this was exactly what we were looking for. We had a great time, being novice riders the trails through the ranch and beach were so much fun. We had dinner and tequila tasting. The different flavors were great. Excellent service from the transportation driver Omar, the staff at the ranch. They have a shop with jewelry my husband found a one of a kind ring at a great price. Highly recommend this adventure

Oh my gosh, where do I begin?!? What an incredible experience this was. Our driver took us on a city tour and once we finally arrived we were greeted and taken to the sweat lodge. I didn't know what to expect, but it was such a great experience. Afterwards we were served the most delicious meal and I was able to sample some great tequilas. The hosts were so awesome and made us feel like family. I would highly recommend this activity.

Mr.Lionso, his family and staff were super kind, welcoming and accommodating. It was a unique experience that we are so glad that we got to have. The ATV is on the beach, the Mezcal with a rattlesnake, the sweat lodge and the yummy lunch. We’re all awesome.

What an amazing experience. Jose Luis was waiting for us right at the port and our driver was so nice and informative of the towns we were paaaing through. Carlos was an amazing guide through the river and told us about local wild life and even helped my son when he got too tired to row. The food that was provided was delicious and hand made. They offer other adventures we will definitely be taking next time.

This was an excellent trip. They could have explained the equipment better, but we were all familiar with kayaks. The river was fun. very calm mostly with some fast sections, small riffles. You could get sideways and dump the kayak, but the guides were careful to keep you away from faster water and snags. Lots of birds and beautiful river corridor to see.The best part however was the fantastic food served at the end. This deserves 6 stars! The village is really nice and the people are so helpful and friendly. The tequila house is fun and the personal tour of the whole thing makes it excellent.

Great time, I would do it again. Everyone was so nice. Our driver was very knowledgeable. The food was sooo good!

It was an interesting experience but there was no Shaman to guide you. We put on our own mud and later washed it off. The warm pool with spring water was refreshing. The sweat lodge/hut was amazing!!!! Felt so good for the body! Highly recommend it even if it wasn’t as advertised. The meal was delicious and everyone was very friendly and helpful.

I was excited about this experience because I am big believer in mindfulness. The company was great about sending me a message with their projected arrival time at my hotel; however, they were almost 30 mins late. I was worried I would miss “the event”. I called the company and they explained that the shuttle was running late due to the other customers they were picking up. I wish I had known how far the drive was to the ranch, so I could have planned my bathroom visit accordingly. It turned out to be a 20-25 mins ride. Once we arrived, it was cool to see they had cows, chickens, horseback riding and ATV riding, all on the same ranch. The owner was great about talking to each family individually & he was quick to find our “shaman”. Within 5-10 mins, the shaman found us and led us to the sweat lodge. Thankfully, we had worn our swimsuits under our clothes and were able to pull off the outer layers without wasting any more time or having to parade past the folks eating lunch. She applied mud to each of us, then tried to recite the shaman prayers in broken English, but we couldn’t quite understand her. Nevertheless, the intention was there. We sat on chairs inside the sweat lodge for about 45 mins. She had to coordinate with someone outside the lodge for more heated stones to produce the steam, which was a bit distracting. We could also hear the ATVs driving around. Once we were finished, we did have to parade past the folks eating lunch…so bring towels. We had 2 showers of cold water available to rub off the mud, the best that we could. Then we sat down for a good meal of shredded beef tacos, with beans, guacamole & watermelon…and of course, many taste test rounds of tequila. They have a splash pool where some kids were playing. They have the distillery equipment on the grounds for people to tour and talk to the owner about. After about 4+ hrs, we tracked down our shuttle driver and made our way back to the hotel. We would definitely do the tour again.

The kayaking down the river was great! The guide took it slowly enough we did not have any trouble keeping up with him. There was a ton of water birds to see along the way, all different types.After kayaking, we had lunch in a little village nearby. The lunch was absolutely delicious! Probably the best Mexican food I've ever had!

Daniel, (my tour guide from the Kayak on the River) was so helpful & I had a great time. The kayaking was about an hour & it was a nice change from the busy & noisy Golden tourist Zone. He made sure I was okay as we headed over the many rapids, and made a point to answer all my questions about the local birds, wildlife & vegetation. All the staff were super friendly & helpful and I had a fantastic lunch at the end. Fully recommend.

The trip down the river was beautiful. The meal was scrumptious and plentiful. The drive from Mazatlan to the starting point was much longer than I realized; this was the reason for a 4 instead of a 5. Daniel (the river guide) and Xavier (the driver from the restaurant to the launching area) were both terrific - helpful and affable!

We kayaked with my family of 5. Kids are 7, 10, and 11. They have kayaked a few times before so I would say they have a decent amount of experience on the water already. The river was very low and I scraped bottom in several spots. This would probably be a little scary for a beginner, but was totally fine. There were some very minor rapids even at the low water level in April. So it's not flat calm, but I guess you would call it a class 1 rapid or 0.5 class if they go that low. The guides did say if you go in the fall the river runs a lot higher and I'm assuming there would be more rapids. The guides were good (one in the front to follow his path, and one in the back to catch any stragglers). They didn't reach you how to kayak, they just showed you the path. Then you had to walk it. It was perfect for us.Lunch in the town was amazing and so authentic. Sampling the tequila made right in the village was so fun. All the tours from this small village end back at the same area and you all have lunch together.The only bad thing I have to say is about the ride from Mazatlan to the town and back. It's a bit of a hike and one of my kids was getting car sick on the mountain roads. Not anything they can do about that, but something to be aware of. The transportation itself if a nice Mercedes shuttle bus.

The river was beautiful and teeming with lots of bird life. The lunch beforehand was authentic, delicious Mexican food. I only wish we had more interaction with the river guide. He made sure we were safe of course, but unfortunately didn,t share anything about what we were seeing.

The kayaking was pretty easy. I did dump at the first rapids at the very beginning. Fortunately, the lake was shallow. The food for lunch was delicious, people were all friendly and took good care of us. We viewed a few birds.
