We had Sally take our tour, it was a big group but we could hear her clearly throughout the whole tour. She was very knowledgeable and engaging with the group, which was really lovely to experience ☺️ you can tell she loves the history and story of the Blue Mansion. I did this tour with TK who is super nice, super knowledgeable and just an all-round great guy. The tour was well paced, he knew about and pointed out all sorts of cool stuff, was great to chat with and just super friendly and chill.Now for the food: incredibly good.- Best curry puff i've ever had, by a long way. - I didnt know char siu could taste that good, in fact it felt like id never actually had char siu before this tour, because it was so good. It was like a completely different food - Peanut butter pancake, the stuff of dreams - Coconut pancake, the stuff of dreamsWould highly recommend this tour to anyone that wants to check out the awesome food KL has to offer

I had the privilege of enjoying a private tour of the Blue Mansion with Sally Lim. Her storytelling was compelling and passionate, factually precise and relevant to the historical context and the legacy of the man who built the Mansion. I particularly liked the references to Cheong's romantic lives and women who made the house a legendary space. I treasure my moments at the center of the Feng Shui lower level design. How do we need this vision of construction and architecture, ever attentive to the ways through which nature can empower human wellness and heal our traumas.

We had seven tastings during our tour of popular places around the Central Market and Jalan Petaling area. We tried dishes that we would not have known about and enjoyed our guide's company very much. I'm sure if we had had bigger appetites we could have tried more and if it had been less hot (he gave us a couple of fans which helped). The claypot coffee was a highlight and made up for some dishes that were too spicy for some of us

This was one of the best tours we've ever done with possibly the best guide we've ever had, Sean. He added more food stops than the scheduled programme and fed us like we were his grand children. All the food was incredibly tasty and the tour is a fantastic way of getting to know KL and its food culture

Guide Alexis was personable, entertaining, knowledgeable and clearly loves her subject matter. She covers all the bases: history, reconstruction process, architecture, social environment, personalities involved and more. I heartily recommend this tour provided in a stunning setting -- and the food and drinks in the adjacent café are delicious!

Wonderful tour of a beautiful traditional Chinese mansion
This tour was wonderful! We were very lucky to be guided by one of the owners of the mansion, who regaled us not only with stories about Cheong Fatt Tze and his historical legacy, but also stories about the monumental effort to restore the mansion - a process that took 6+ years. The mansion itself is gorgeous and the guided tour shed light on the traditional Chinese architectural principles that guided its construction. I came away with an even greater appreciation of the mansion's significance to Penang's heritage and local history, as well as the dedication and love that went into restoring this mansion and opening it to the public.

We had a guide named Kiren, a very special lady. Very knowledgeable about the history of Kuala Lumpur. We ate in clean places and tried a big variety of different dishes. Kiren went out of her way to make the tour very enjoyable. Kiren also collected the food left over for the children that live in the Syndicate ( where children stay that have no parents). Such an inspiring lady that’s goes beyond her job. Thanks Kiren.
