As total beginners to both kayaking and snorkeling and being closer to 50 than 40, my partner and I debated doing this tour for a couple of days before deciding to go for it. Best decision of the holiday!! Booked through GetYourGuide and recieved confirmation and joining instructions shortly afterwards. Ivan greeted us on arrival and,once everyone had arrived, we were given a tub to put any valuables in, a life jacket, a dry bag, and an oar. Ivan then gave us a short briefing about the tour, what to expect, how to control the kayak and what to do in an emergency. We then set off at a gentle pace towards the headland with regular stops to keep the group together and to share information on the marine life, history of La Herradura and surrounding areas. We rowed around the headland to Virgin Mary cave where we rowed into the cave for a look around before rowing back to a shingle beach for the snorkelling. We were given masks and shown how to use them, and then had 30 minutes to explore as we wanted. The water is amazingly clean and there were many species of fish to be seen. After the snorkelling it was a short padel back to the beach where the tour ends. A particular mention to Ivan, who was friendly, helpful and had a wealth of information to share.

We saw lots of fishes and it is especially great that this host minds the nature and collects trash from the ocean during the trip. Some other guide in La Herradura offering Kayak tours that we saw went way too close to protected areas, I highly recommend choosing Activ8you for your kayaking adventure :)

From boarding the boat to exiting, we had such an amazing experience. The crew was fantastic, conversational, and very fun. We had 9 people (outside of the 2 crew) and it still felt very roomier. You can lounge in the back, front, on the nets, and in the cabin if desired.They welcomed with a nice glass of Cava, followed by alcoholic drinks (wine and beer) along with non-alcoholic.They had a variety of adventurous items to choose from: snorkeling, noodles, paddle board, etc.Lunch was a nice and light refreshing array after swimming for a few hours.Truly a wonderful day!

What an experience, made completely by our guide, Miguel - took time for everyone in the group, obviously enjoys doing what he does and this shone through.I cannot criticise any aspect of the trip, two hours of fun with a great guide.

Absolutely amazing trip, Mike and Amber were awesome, very knowledgeable and attentive.  We saw several dolphins, brilliant views and enjoyed great food plus the drinks were flowing.  Such a great group of people and we had an excellent time.  Could not have asked for more I would highly recommend this trip, it has been one of the highlights of our holiday.  Thank you so much and Amber what a wonderful play list we loved the tunes!

What a wonderful experience. So pleased we booked the guided tour rather than just the kayak hire. Our guide (Miguel) was fantastic, his knowledge and enthusiasm was superb. He made everyone on the trip feel welcomed and he made sure he spoke to everyone during the 2.5 hours. The caves, rocks and waterfall were stunning to see from the sea. Can wholeheartedly recommend.

Great trip - so much fun for 7 yr old and 12 yr old daughters! The team were so helpful, dolphins were amazing and the sea swimming was loved by all (including 7yr old in a life vest)

The experience was very beautiful, some wonderful views full of nature that are worth seeing. What we were most sorry about was not being able to visit the second cave due to the easterly wind that made our return very difficult. We must highlight our instructor ADRIAN who was an excellent guide, for his advice conveying safety throughout the journey and for everything he taught us during the tour. Without a doubt, we will do it again. I advise you to do it because you are going to enjoy it a lot.

Everything was very good, the girl who was at the bar even made it easy for us to be able to buy drinks, I would repeat.

Well organized, the staff attentive and pleasant. What you have to keep in mind is to arrive about 30 minutes early because the apartment is complicated to find. We will repeat.

My children had a wonderful time at the Activ8You camp in La Herradura. The staff and instructors were kind and fun. My children loved the water sports the most and got to try several activities new to them like Absailing.

Booked as a family trip for 9 of us. Communication was excellent from the minute we booked. Had a great experience seeing Dolphins swim along with us. The sea was choppy on the day of our booking so an alternative area was suggested for time with the slide which we appreciated. Highly recommend

We did the kayaking/snorkeling excursion in Playa Maro. It exceeded our expectations we love being active & it was about 2.5 hours total. Our guides were amazing & took us to the best spots. Highly recommend if you are in this region & like a good adventure. 10/10! Me & my husband had an amazing time, thank you!

Was a great day out left a little bit later than expected but was a good day out weather wasn't in our favour but still got to see caves and snorkel
