This tour was a great experience! The sympathetic owner Heli has given everything to make this trip unforgettable. Not only the Aurora but also the subsequent end in the warm cabin on the lake with hot sausages from the wood grill, homemade cake and pastries and blueberry tea I will always remember well! We had an absolutely fantastic tour, combining a visit to a reindeer farm with a wonderful snowshoeing experience. Everything was perfectly organized and exceeded our expectations.Our guide Pikka was local and passionate, which made a big difference. She shared a wealth of knowledge about the region, the reindeer, and traditional Lappish culture and way of life. It was both fascinating and enriching to learn directly from someone so connected to the environment.The visit to the reindeer farm was a highlight—getting up close to the animals in such an authentic setting was very special. The snowshoeing portion was equally enjoyable, with beautiful scenery and a peaceful atmosphere throughout.We also had the chance to eat in a traditional kota, which was a unique and memorable experience. The setting was warm and authentic, and it added a special cultural touch to the day.Overall, we had an amazing time and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Levi area.

The Northern Lights Experience was our third activity with Soma Adventures, and by now it feels impossible to imagine our Lapland visits without Heli being part of them. My husband and I first came to Levi in October 2025 and instantly fell in love with this beautiful little corner of the world. One of the biggest reasons we felt so compelled to return was Heli. She has such a warm, genuine presence, and she shares her love for Levi and Lapland in a way that is deeply heartfelt and unforgettable.On this visit, we did both the ice fishing and Northern Lights experiences, and they were both incredible. We had so much fun, and I was thrilled to even catch a couple of fish. But what stays with me most is how these experiences made me feel. Heli has a way of making you feel connected not just to the activity, but to the place itself. Through her, we experienced Lapland in a more personal and meaningful way, and it made me fall in love with Lapland even more.Lapland is truly my happy place, and Soma Adventures is a big part of why. Heli’s kindness, passion, and love for her home shine through in everything she does, and I couldn’t recommend her more highly.

My wife and I had a lovely time with Soma for a reindeer and snowshoe experience! Communications were excellent pre- trip. Wonderful hands on experience at a reindeer farm followed up by a snowshoe experience across a frozen lake and in the woods, finishing up with some homemade desserts by the fire at the family cottage on the lake. Truly unique activities with a welcoming guide that was a lot of fun. Highly recommend!!

Such a magical and peaceful experience! This has been our second time now and it was just as good as the first. We walked with Riitta to the hammock area through the forest and she has such a wide knowledge of everything that lives there. We loved hearing all about it. We’d do this again in a heartbeat.

If you’re looking for a unique activity in Lapland where you really get to connect with this beautiful place, Halipuu forest is the place to be!This was our second time cocooning in the forest. We had to come back as we loved this so much last year. You can tell Riitta is so passionate about everything that’s going on in Halipuu forest. Everything is thought of and at the end of the experience you get to enjoy your own roasted bread buns on the fire, a hot black current juice and homemade marshmallows. Highly recommend adding this to your Lapland bucketlist❤️

This Sami deer farm is authentic. Heli accompanied us excellently and explained everything in detail about the life of reindeer. Later we were driven to a cabin on the frozen lake. With the snowshoes we went across the lake into the deep snowy forest and back across the lake to the hut. Heil had prepared a soup with homemade bread. Also a dessert (cake) was served to us. Heli is so warm, it was a wonderful day. This promotion we had booked through Kerstin von Jokimaja (Köngäs). Anytime again. Highly recommended.

Heli and Pikka have done such an amazing job - it was the highlight of our trip. 10/10 recommend, they did everything so that we could see the northern lights and take great photos. They were so accomodating and friendly, I would recommend to anyone.

Our Reindeer and Snowshoeing experience with SOMA Adventures was truly a highlight of our Lapland adventures!From the moment we were picked up, Heli and Pikka gave us a warm welcome and shared stories on the scenic ride to the experience. The property is absolutely stunning and surrounded by untouched nature.The reindeer experience was genuine and intimate. They were gentle and exciting to feed, and we’ll never forget leading two male reindeer, Snooze and Blueberry. They sweetly rubbed their heads and antlers against us, creating such a special and heartwarming connection.We snowshoed across a frozen lake and into serene, peaceful woods while other visitors tried ice fishing nearby. The stillness of the woods and the vast white landscape made the entire experience feel magical and pure.After our outdoor adventure, we warmed up in the cozy “lodge” and enjoyed delicious vegan soup. As if the day couldn’t get any better, it ended with a surprise snowmobile sleigh ride across the lake!This experience was authentic, peaceful, and incredibly special. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lapland — it’s something you’ll carry with you long after you leave.

We had the chance to spend a week holiday in Finnish Lapland in Levi. It was extraordinary and wonderful. The icing on the cake was our trip to the Northern Lights. It was an unforgettable experience and will remain forever etched in our heads. We were lucky to have clear skies that evening and we had fireworks in the sky. In addition, the adventure was magnified by our young guides and guests ( Pikka and Tuikkn ) who received us at their house in their cabins by offering us food and drink around a fireplace warming us (-25 degrees that evening less you). We also had all the necessary explanations about the Northern Lights but also about the Sami culture. An excursion not to be missed around Levi. To advise. Thank you, Pikka. The most relaxing unique experience in the forest. Riita made us really welcome and we had an amazing time!

Thought we would try something different on our 3rd trip to Finland and this exceeded all our expectations. Riita was so knowledgeable about the trees in the forest and the family history behind it. Knowing that by offering these and other experiences meant the trees did not need to be chopped down but remain for us to enjoy was an added bonus. Being cocooned in a hammock covered with a warm blanket was so relaxing and special. Hot drinks and toasting marshmallows yummy. I highly recommend if staying in Levi.

This tour was a blast and we can strongly recommend it to anyone who’s interested in getting to know the wonderful authentic Lapland. Heli is super friendly and we learned so many interesting facts about reindeers and the local surroundings where she grew up herself. After visiting the reindeer farm (where you can feel that the reindeers are at home and not considered as a tourist attraction), we went to her place to warm up and drank some hot juice before going snow walking across the lake to a beautiful forest. Afterwards Heli prepared an amazing treat for us including selfmade cake, hot chocolate and a small BBQ, again at her place where everything is super cozy and we felt at home even though being abroad. Thank you so much Heli, we‘ll keep this day in our hearts

This excursion is truly a must-do. The guide’s hospitality genuinely makes you feel welcome. They are incredibly kind and answer every question you have. The pick-up and drop-off service is perfectly arranged. Don’t hesitate — book this excursion!

We booked this tour very last minute and were grateful that it was accepted. We had a lovely time with Tuikku, who deserves more than 5 stars! She was very well organized and answered all of our questions. There was a very friendly atmosphere and you can feel that the company makes an effort to create this kind of experience. The visit to the reindeer farm did feel a bit rushed but as we had already had another reindeer farm visit on a previous trip to Finland, this was not a big issue for us. Snowshoeing on the frozen lake and in the snowy forest was great. Grilling sausages in the warm cabin and enjoying some warm berry juice and home-made pastry was the perfect ending to a lovely day.
