Top Kutaisi Overnight Tours

Touring Sveneti with Mariami was super. She rearranged the schedule to suit the weather and provided a personal and local touch to the tour that made it interesting and enjoyable. The hike to the glacier is substantial so be prepared for the weather and the tricky footwork on the rocks. But so worth it!!

One of the most beautiful mountain range I have ever visited. The tour pacing is very good with the Shkara Galcier on the first day and the tower museum in Mestia on the second day was also my favorite. Our tour guide Jemali was so hilarious, making our trip so fun and unforgettable. He is a good driver, knowledgeable, has good taste in music. he shared a lot of life and historical and cultural insights, he also stopped at many view points on the way for us to appreciate the nature. Highly recommend booking this trip if you make it to Georgia!

What an amazing tour! The landscapes are stunning. I loved the hike to the Tchlaadi glacier and Ushguli a lot. I will come back one day for sure.

Absolutely brilliant tour with some amazing views and hikes. The guides were so knowledgeable and friendly. Can absolutely recommend this tour!

The trip to Svaneti is one of my most memorable experiences in Georgia. The majestic mountain landscape, ancient villages, and beautiful 4x4 routes make every moment very special. Our guide, Jimela, is extremely funny, friendly, and very knowledgeable about Georgian history and culture. He always enthusiastically shared interesting stories about the tourist attractions and also helped us take many beautiful photos. Another plus is Jimela's Georgia music playlist, which is very good and makes long journeys much more interesting. I really advise everyone to join this tour if they want to discover the spectacular beauty of Svaneti.

This was an amazing trip, and our guide Gia was incredible! He was very experienced, friendly, and always happy to help, including taking photos for us throughout the trip.Gia had a lot of knowledge about Georgia and all the places we visited, and he shared interesting information that made the experience even more enjoyable. His experience and enthusiasm really made a difference. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and the whole trip was a great way to discover this part of Georgia.Definitely a must-do if you are visiting Georgia — and especially if you want to visit Mestia! I highly recommend this tour and Gia as a guide.

I booked this 2 days tour from Kutaisi to Svanetti thru Budget Georgia. The night before the tour they sent me a what's app message about the pick up location and time. Giorgi, the tour guide is friendly and knowledgeable, and told us history of his country and about the places we're going to visit. The whole trip he was full of energy and and answered all the questions asked to him. He even recommend a small bakery on the way to Mestia, where some tour participants ordered a special meat pie, called Kubdari. The trip was very long and at times the road was bumpy but it was a relief when we finally reached Mestia. Due to we arrived late than expected, we started the tour straight away, we went to see the old residence of the famous family in Svanetti, so as the Svan towers. Mestia is peaceful, surrounded by lots of green landscapes and took some rest. ..At around 5:30 pm, we started our hike to the Glacier, the hike was easy to medium, ensure u wear a proper hiking shoes, lots big rocks on the trail. I enjoyed this hike, the views were spectacular so as the fresh air... The next day we drove to Ushguli with a different tour guide, named Dato, he's friendly and jolly person... He gave us insights about places we stopped, we took lots of photos, Ushguli was just awesome, we saw the Unesco certified Svan towers, Tower of love, green landscapes and mountains. Overall, if u only have limited time and really want to see Svanetti, go for this tour, ensure you book your guesthouse near Credo Bank, I booked my accommodation facing the river, just a 2 minutes walk to the meeting point, Credo Bank.Once again, thank you Budget Georgia, wish u all the best!

Best way to see Svaneti and Mestia in a crunch! The guides are sweet and informative and the tour takes you from Kutaisi to Mestia and Ushguli, with stunning views. Be prepared for a good bit of bumpy car travel but the destinations and logistics are perfect for a small trip out to Svaneti.

A great 2-day trip, with three more people. It worked perfectly well despite some non perfect weather in the first day. Stunning scenery, a very nice programm thay included hiking, visiting the Svaneti national museum, taking beautiful photos. Our guide Gia was excellent! Highly recommended!

We did this tour with our guide Jemali who exceeded all our expectations. He was very knowledgeable, had local connections in every stop, knew the best viewpoints and was a safe driver. He was always friendly and flexible. With an open and generous heart, he would also share some of the local traditions that would otherwise be inaccessible to tourists. The tour itself offers stunning, almost surreal, views. Fascinating historical sites were also visited and amazing once in a lifetime experiences like horseriding in the mountains, hiking to glaciers and stunning waterfalls. All in all this was an amazing experience that was made so much better thanks to our excellent guide Jemali. We were so pleased with this that we hired Jemali for other experiences after for the rest of our stay in Georgia.

Really very friendly. Make sure to use the tour here! Strap.

The absolute best excursion I have ever been on. Svaneti should already be on every Georgia itinerary ever, but the guides - Ana and James - from Megobari Tours elevates this experience to the next level. An extra special thanks to Ana for making the name «Megobari» (friend) a very suiting mantra for the experience. After this experience our entire group ended up booking a new trip to Tchiatura - again with Ana - the day after we returned to Kutaisi. This, of course, did not disappoint either.

I loved the tour so much. From the length to the price to even the size of the group. Everything was perfect. The guide was so funny, so knowledgable and totally kind. He also took the best pictures ever. Its a good tour for friends and people who solo travel as well. Wasnt weird at all.

Svaneti trip was a great journey into mountains. Horse riding was fun and easy. Guide was cheerful and gave good information.

This remote area was unlocked for us by this tour! More than what was said was included, in spite of snowfall and the Easter weekend (with dome places closed).

Nice tour in the mountains. The road trip to Mestia was an experience on its own. Even if the weather was not ideal, our guide Jemali made the experience very cool. I appreciate his honesty when answering all the questions we had, which allowed us to get a better insight into Georgian culture, people, sports...Given the experience, we also chose the same company for another tour.
