Top Korcula Kayaking & Canoeing

Thank you Boris for an excellent time on kayaks! We were a group of 9 adults from Finland, of which 8 beginners, some of whom were very nervous about kayaking on the sea. Boris made everyone feel comfortable by giving hands-on and great instructions to the beginners. We visited three islands , walked around a bit and learned so much about the history of the area. The grk wine and the homemade klasuns and cookies were a wonderful treat to finish the trip, as was the opportunity to swim. Ivka was very helpful during the booking process, and reacted so well to the several changes in our group composition. No charge even for a last minute drop-out of one member of our group. Thanks to Boris, all the beginners are now becoming paddling enthusiasts :))

This is a lovely combination of kayaking and learning some more about the local history, with some local snacks and wine a bonus!

It was a great experience, our guide was very knowledgeable. Highly recommend this tour. You don’t want to miss it

A review with a difference…as we didn’t actually go! This is a review of the people who run the trip. We were booked to go and were greatly looking forward to it but we both got food poisoning on the morning of the trip. We waited until a couple of hours before the start time but had to contact the team who ran the trip to cancel. She immediately asked if we wanted an alternative date but as it was our last day this wasn’t possible so she then offered a full refund, which Cool Destinations have honoured. In the circumstances, you really can’t ask for better service. Just wish we could have done the trip!

What a great tour to take at your own pace, my guild Andre was a local born and bred lad that was completely professional and really relaxed. We visited some really secluded beaches and little villages that were former stone mines. The lunch was tasty and a generous reward to a morning of kayaking.

We had the BEST day. The boat was perfect, water gorgeous and activities amazing. We loved the paddle boarding, snorkeling, beach club, and especially the lunch + wine. Highly recommend!

A great experience! No better way to see the smaller islands. The guide was great! Kayaks were in good shape. It was amazing to cool off with a swim, some Grk wine and some homemade pastries.

We thoroughly enjoyed our kayaking tour! We went to three different islands and our excellent guide; Andrej shared some important history about each place we visited. It was fun to be out on the beautiful water, our group was seven people of varying ages. Andrej easily managed to keep us all together and having fun. It was easy getting to the meeting point, at their expense, they arranged for us to be picked up and dropped off. It is less than a ten-minute drive from the center of Korcula. The tour was fantastic, both interesting and fun with a super knowledgeable guide. The pastries and the wine were an added bonus and delicious! Thank you!

Boris and Ivka were wonderful and friendly. We were picked up right in front of our apartment and set up with our preference of single or double kayaks. Boris was a great instructor and knowledgeable guide. The various islands we stopped at were beautiful and we had a great experience socializing with the others on the tour. The homemade wine and pastries were absolutely delicious. This experience was a true highlight of our trip. Afterwards, Boris even reached out to share tips and recommendations for the rest of our trip. I give my highest recommendation for this experience and would truly give it 6 stars if I could!

Our first time booking an activity with Cool Destinations and it was amazing! Everything went super smooth 🥰 Ivka and Boris were super polite and friendly. The kayak was very fun and I felt safe all the way. When we would stop at the islands Boris would tell interesting facts about the history of the area and the sweet treats we had while talking were very tasty! Then the wine… no words! Was the best Grk we had while on the island. Thank you guys for providing such a nice experience for the tourists. Wish you all the success!!!

We had to wait for 3 years to take this holiday, as we booked pre pandemic. However, Zoran honoured our holiday and helped us to book this June. Well, I cannot praise this holiday enough - I'm reviewing this kayaking trip, but the whole holiday experience was absolutely top-class from Zoran and his staff. Honestly, THE BEST FAMILY HOLIDAY WE HAVE BEEN ON. Bar none. The sea kayaking trip we took involved our breakfast at the Captain's Villa, prepared by Zoran's wife. We had a wonderful home cooked breakfast, with banana bread, and other yogurts and fresh fruits. The trip involved setting out across the bay to an island with an old (but restored) Franciscan Monastery. Our guide, Andre, kept a good relaxed pace that my two boys (aged 11 & 10 ) and my wife were comfortable with. Andre was very knowledgeable, friendly, and good with the kids.We had a packed lunch brought for us, and plenty of water; Andre paddled with this cool bag on his kayak. We had a barrel for our stuff, so it would be kept safe and dry. After this island, we paddled out to another, with a fascinating stone quarry. The local stone has been quarried for many hundreds of years, and Andre gave us a great rundown of its properties, uses, and the history of the island's quarrying activity. We paddled back, and by this time my wife and kids were quite tired - happily, the 30-foot Rib owned by Zoran was in the bay, returning from another activity... so my wife and kids got a tow, and I paddled back.All-in-all a magical day, with lots of opportunities for swimming, snorkelling, and paddling. The home-made lunch was lovely, and the overall experience very easy to recommend. The whole holiday was excellent, and we will absolutely be back at some point. If you are considering this trip, book with confidence as you are in great hands.

We were happy to find an affordable private kaying/swimming tour for a great day on the water around Korcula Island. Our guide, Andre, was friendly and skilled. He led us to both Badija and Vrnik Islands. It was challenging enough for our fit small group, but he made it clear he'd happily adjust the rigor of the paddling to our preferences, whether we needed a slower pace or a bigger challenge. It was fascinating to walk the grounds of a 14th Century monastery on Badija Island then interact with the island's tame local deer population. A quick swim and fresh fruit snack was a good refresher. The scenery was pretty on the paddle to our next stop, Vrnik Island. We toured an incredible Roman-era stone quarry. Andre was quite knowledgeable about its history (an active quarry until 1929), which included providing stone that was donated to construct the pillars in front of the U.S. White House! There was a small, quiet beach with smooth pebbles (wear water shoes, there are very few sandy beaches in the region) where we lounged after snorkeling and swimming. The water was perfectly clear and warm in August.Paddling back to the Korcula Adventures dock, we were pretty tired but ready to swim and snorkel some more. We'll definitely be back to these gorgeous islands in the Adriatic. Less touristy than Dubrovnik, which is just 2 hours away, and much better bang for the buck.

Quite tough for persons who do not know kayaking properly. Requires good physical fitness especially if the sea is not calm.

We were picked up at our hotel promptly by the owner, Boris. Brought to a staging area, and my wife and I hopped in to a two person KAYAK after a brief safety briefing. We were taking on a beautiful kayaking adventure with Andre, our guide. The kayaking was pleasant, not overly aggressive. Andre was a wonderful host. We stopped at a couple of islands and at each island we were treated to homemade snacks. Mint juice, numerous homemade danishes, homemade breads, Grk wine from Boris’ dad’s vineyard. Andre was very knowledgeable and gave us history of the quarry, knew a lot about flora and fauna. We learned a lot and enjoyed a beautiful day out on the water. We felt this tour was very personal and we were well taken care of. Boris and Andre were great hosts!

Fabulous tour. Boris was excellent guide, very knowledgeable about the villages we visited. Had time to swim and see the villages and eat some local homemade desserts and homemade wine! Really fun.

Easy pickup from our hotel, Andre was our guide and we had a wonderful tour, swims, snacks/wine and learned a lot of interesting history about the island if Korčula. Highly recommend… it was wonderful to tour by the water. Also - the kayaks are great!
