Top Italy Ballet

What a lovely way to spend the evening! Of course La Traviata is stunning music. These singers and musicians were outstanding! And the church where the opera was held had wonderful acoustics and was quite beautiful.

Beautiful venue making the opera seem personal. The actors/singers have a wonderful show, making my first opera a lovely experience.

This is an amazing experience where the setting places you on stage with the performers rather than customers in an auditorium. This is not the Teatro La Fenice or a slick Broadway with pyrotechnics and flying performers but the venue (St Paul within thevwalls), vocals, music, and dance were a treasured experience for me. Location is eastern third of Rome near Termini Station, the Opera (Teatro del'Opera di Roma), and St Mary Maggiore. It is almost due South from the Borghese Museum, a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute drive.

It was a wonderful experience! First, it was air conditioned (not blasting); we felt comfortable in July and I used a hand fan at times. The pews all have cushions and it was worth it for us for VIP upcharge. The doors opened just before 8 (show starts at 8:30), they use the door that is closer to Nazionale St (not the one that has signs for bathroom). If you have VIP tickets you can enter first and choose your seats first. Closer to the aisle is a better view. The chamber orchestra is on the left so if you sit too far on the left the orchestra will be in your line of sight. The Opera was well done with experienced singers and the one playing Violetta was amazing. This is an Episcopalian church that was built in 1888 with Pre-Raphealite style mosiacs and was really beautiful. There was a nice break between acts and you could get up and walk around. The ambiance and the performance itself were transporting. Also, if you use Cool Destinations and get a voucher it's no problem, you don't have to trade it in for a ticket. Just go to the church and show the voucher, smooth process, and they had our names on the sheet.

The church is beautiful and the opera was fun. The female lead and the man who played the father were incredible! Get there early if want want a good seat.

An intimate performance in a charming setting, the ensemble were extremely talented performers and accompanied by amazing musicians

The church is a lovely venue for an intimate opera experience. . Choose 1st row left and watch the concentration and precision of the orchestra, marvel at the vocal talents of the singers in beautiful costumes, and enjoy be being close to two mesmerizing dancers performing ballet included in the Rome production.

Affordable, professional, amazing performance. Such a beautiful experience to see Opera in Rome, in a magnificent church.

A lovely experience. The combination of opera and ballet was special, but the two arts worked well together. The church was a good place to have the opera, fantastic acoustics and beautiful background. However, the benches were hard to sit on for 2 1/2 hours.

First time seeing an opera. It was such a beautiful experience being in a small church with talented and powerful performers.

THIS SPECTACLE OPERA WONDERFUL BALET I RECOMMEND , IT'S MAGNIFIC I WILL ALWAYS RETURN TO THE CHURCH ON THE NATIONAL ROAD VERY CENTRAL, BEAUTIFUL INSIDE, I LIKE VERY MUCH 2026 I WILL RETURN, I RECOMMEND.

This was a fabulous into to our Italian experience! We booked it for our first night and it was a beautiful church, and the music was inspiring. The lead female singer gave me chills!!!

We thought it would be pretty cool to see an authentic Italian opera…. Problem was, we had no idea what was happening in the story. Those folks could yodel! And they had cool outfits, the church was neat and fairly easy to find but we left after second act with that itch all scratched and went to find more gelato. Lol.

Wanted to try this and see if Opera was something we'd enjoy and pleasantly surprised. Don't pay extra for front seats and priority, I was seated behind a pillar with a restricted view

The performance was wonderful. We brought the whole family. I was explaining what was going on to my son and some people in front of us were upset and rude about it. But overall it was a great experience. Beautiful church. If you’re going, I recommend getting there early and getting your seat.
