As a solo (female) traveler I am often reluctant to book excursions - I’m so glad I ignored that and booked with Donney. He was friendly and personable in addition to being incredibly knowledgeable about Grenada. We hit every stop on the tour and none of them disappointed. From stellar views to one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever visited, I can’t recommend this excursion - and Donney - enough! The rum tasting at Drinking with Donney was a blast and I learned so much! 100/10. You HAVE to experience this tour when in Grenada!

We had an amazing time on our Grenada excursion with Donny! From start to finish, he was incredibly nice, welcoming, and easy to connect with. Donny is very engaging and clearly knows the island inside and out. He shared so much history, local insight, and fun facts, and happily answered all of our questions along the way.

The tour was amazing, the guide was excellent in sharing the local history, culture, and experience. The river tubing was a blast! The two guides that took us down the river were so helpful and made sure we were all having a fun, safe experience. We even met and were able to feed fruit to a Mona Monkey. As a family ranging in ages from 30-74 we highly recommend this experience!

We booked this tour through Sandals resort. This was a great way to see a good portion of the spice island and learn some of its history and culture. Our guide, Betel (sp?), was excellent. He is articulate, knows his subject matter and has an engaging personality. Betel (sp?) gave us interesting facts about Grenada and was quick to point out landmarks and the local flora and fauna. The tour was informative and fun without being overwhelming. The sulphur spring was neat. In a remote location and we were the only ones there. The sulphur spring does not smell badly. We had a blast doing the river tubing. The river guides were upbeat and did great work hauling the tubers around rocks and getting them unstuck when necessary. There is a great little swim hole at the end of the river ride. We had a nice local food picnic at the lake after the river tubing. We also got to meet and greet some of the local monkeys…..added fun bonus! Thumbs up on the rum punch, too! Would recommend this tour to anyone that wants to experience outdoor activity and learn about the history and culture of Grenada.

We had the greatest adventure with Donney. He is the perfect tour host, starting off by picking us up in an air conditioned van. He went over and above what we expected for the tour. We got to see and experience so much of this beautiful island. Donney is easy to work with and we were able to customize out trip to experience the activities that we wanted to do. He is also very knowledgeable about his country and so the information he gives is an added bonus. We highly recommend using Illustrious taxi and tour for your tours when you get to Grenada. We will definitely be using Donney’s services again.

Our full-day Hawaiian Leis tour with Donny was an unforgettable experience! From start to finish, Donny's passion for Grenada and its culture made the day extra special. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, checking in with us regularly to make sure we were having a great time.The tour was packed with fascinating stops, including the Chocolate Museum, where we learned all about the cocoa beans and the chocolate-making process. We even had the chance to sample some local chocolate – it was absolutely delicious!Another highlight was getting up close and personal with the local monkeys. They were so friendly, and we had a blast snapping pictures as they moved around. Donny also shared so much about Grenada’s rich history, from its colonial past to its vibrant culture today. His insights were engaging and brought the island’s story to life in a way we won’t forget.If you're looking for a tour that combines nature, history, and amazing local experiences, I can’t recommend this one enough. Donny truly made it a day to remember!

The whole experience was fantastic but top it all was our guide he was kind funny and took hs time made the day great his name was beatles lovely man then there was the water boys at the river Tubing they were fantastic patience of a saint all of them every one who took part on this experience were there to make it special fantastic

They picked me up promptly and that was the beginning of a great day in Grenada. Our guide was welcoming and put me at ease. He told us many historical facts, pointed out trees and what they produced. We drove up into the mountains and we hiked into a hot springs, He was very attentive to us as the path was narrow, muddy and slippery. Very warm water we just chatted and relaxed. Next we drove down to the river for our tube adventure. The staff were really efficient and friendly, the water was low so all the staff were in the water, assisting so we would enjoy our float. We ended our tour with lunch by a lake . Each one of them worked very hard to give us the best experience. Thanks to you all for making this a memorable part of my vacation. When I return to my home in Canada I will remember this day with a smile on my face.

We were recommended him by someone at our resort and he did NOT disappoint! 10/10 would recommend him to anyone looking for a chance to truly immerse yourselves in the culture of this beautiful island.

My favorite stop was definitely the beautiful waterfall with the bar and restaurant overlooking it — such a cool spot where we had just enough time to grab a refreshing drink and enjoy the scenery.The other stops — rum tasting, visiting the chocolate factory, exploring the rainforest, and relaxing at the beach — were equally fantastic. Donny really goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has the tour experience they want. For example, at the end of the tour, only two of us wanted to stay at the beach, so Donny dropped the others off at the ship and then came back an hour later to pick us up — such incredible service!If you do the tour (and you definitely should!), I highly recommend stopping at the beach, grabbing a bite at Umbrellas restaurant, and taking a stroll along the gorgeous white sand.If you're visiting Grenada, you must book a tour with Donny Best — it will be a highlight of your trip!

Spent a fantastic day with Donny, he was a gem, friendly and considerate, nothing was too much trouble to make sure we had a day to remember. He was very knowledgeable, explaining about the island and what it's like to live there. The talk from the owner of the chocolate factory was very informative and the samples were delicious. Best part for me was watching and feeding the Mona monkeys. The Grand Etang Lake, Annandale waterfalls and the beach were all beautiful, what a way to spend the last day of our cruise.

Our family had a great time with Donnie. He gave us a tour of the island and discussed the history of it! We had a great time visiting the waterfalls and the rum tasting. We got a great picture with a monkey. He is so nice and it was a wonderful day!
