Top Gran Canaria Sailing Trips

As two couples we have just had an amazing day out. We rang direct as we were struggling with a pick up point and it was arranged straight away. The boat was spotlessly clean, the crew were friendly and helpful and the food and drinks superb. The stops for swimming were well organised with snorkelling equipment and paddle boards to use. We would definitely recommend!

Absolutely great experience! We were out for about 4.5 hours, with two stops at bays for swimming, snorkeling (a lot of beautiful, large, colorful fish 😊), and relaxing. We have already been on quite a few commercial boat tours, and this was one of the most pleasant and beautiful.

This trip was the most beautiful experience, wonderful hosts, wonderful yacht and a wonderful time at sea. We travelled as a family and the hosts were amazing with both the adults and the small human at all times during the adventure.

Booking through Cool Destinations was uncomplicated. The communication from the Karolka crew is very friendly and professional. A pickup that was not initially agreed upon was still able to be arranged, so we did not have to use the expensive parking lot at the harbor. Dagmara picked us up in a comfortable van, so that each of the eight guests found enough space. We met Marek on the yacht. After a short briefing in English and Polish, it was time to "cast off." Dagmara and Marek took care of us during the entire time on board. With their knowledge, stories, and interesting conversations, the two knew how to bring us closer to the beauty of the sea, Gran Canaria, sailing, and nature on Gran Canaria. The light and the atmosphere on the sea and under sail were unique. Just as unique as relaxing is the moment when the engine turns off and the yacht is moved only by the wind. A stop for swimming and snorkeling was, of course, a must. Equipment is naturally available (including a SUP) on board. After a small but fine snack, it was time for the sailors to head back to the harbor. Anyone worried about language barriers does not need to worry on board the New Karolka. As a family that speaks German, English, and a few words of Spanish, we felt comfortable at all times among Polish guests and a Polish crew, and never felt like strangers, thanks to the friendliness, openness, and warmth of Marek and Dagmara. We also want to thank the lovely Xiaomei and all the other staff for being so welcoming, attentive, and friendly throughout the day.Everything was wonderful, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Great experience, super dedicated friendly team

We spent a great afternoon with Marek and Dagmara on a 3 hour excursion with two adults and two children. In a short time we learned a lot about the history of the islands, their travels around the world and even some nautical skills for the kids. With the sails up and the sun shining we could really get away from the troubles of land.We enjoyed snorkeling and paddle boarding off the back of the boat in a quiet bay teaming with fish, and finished with an excellent lunch and drinks throughout. This was the highlight of my time in Gran Canaria.Thank you both and good luck with Kilimanjaro.

The view was amazing. People were very friendly and the food was really good. We would surely come back if we are at Gran Canaria again.

Very good, upon arriving I expected 30 people but there were only 12 because we went at the beginning of September and there were not that many people, it was still very hot, bring protection, the food was very good, the guys were very kind

Very beautiful experience. Small group. Great meal. Swimming with lots of fish! (I was even able to see a ray!!) Good quality snorkeling and paddleboarding equipment. The crew is welcoming, smiling, and very kind.

Excellent hosts and excellent trip. The boat is great. Food was good.We saw dolphins!

We had a fantastic time on this excursionIt’s 4 hours long, suitable for all ages and takes you on a lovely trip to different parts of the island.We upgraded to the lounge beds which I highly recommend, it was a gorgeous day so it was nice to lie down and relax.€1 gets you a reusable cup, within the cost of the excursion most drinks are free, the main meal is free but any extra snacks etc are charged for a small price.Whilst on the boat we went on some excursions that we paid extra for including parasailing, banana boat and a cave explore with a speedboat.We had 2 wheelchair users and the staff were very helpful, helping them get on the boat and storing the wheelchairs for us.You also get the chance to go snorkelling and there’s a slide on the back of the boat.The boat has a glass bottom and whilst stationary you can see all of the fish.Would recommend.

It was good, we really liked the service of the crew great. We would have liked to have been taken to a little cove where we could bathe because I was particularly afraid to throw myself where we were proposed but I guess they could not get closer to the coast . Overall very well. I would repeat!!!!

Despite very little wind and limited sailing opportunities, we had the most wonderful time. Dagmara and Marek’s wealth of experience, local knowledge and great hospitality skills were exemplary. They tried their best to make the experience enjoyable and inclusive for everyone. We will definitely book again when back or hopefully see you at another marina 😊
