First time in Lisbon Portugal and first tour we did was Fatima. Fernando showed up early at our hotel and pick us up to go to Fatima. On the way to Fatima he shared historical facts about Portugal history , Lisbon and Fatima. He also touched a lot of topics , local news , current events and best places to check out from dinning to sight seeing. He also gave us tips where local go and also customs. He made trip very memorable. He is very professional, personable and helps you what ever you need to get around. My family has earned our trust and we made a friend during this trip. We definitely connect with him again when we’re back in Portugal. Highly recommended Tour Guide .

Francisco is an exceptional tour guide and truly one of the best ambassadors Portugal could hope for. His car is spotless and comfortable, and he’s a careful, confident driver. He arrived at our hotel right on time, greeted us with a friendly smile, and even had chilled bottled water waiting for us — a small gesture that set the tone for a thoughtful, well‑organized day.Throughout the drive, Francisco shared fascinating background information and history about Portugal, giving us a deeper appreciation for the country. At Fátima, he guided us through the ideal order of the visit and even confirmed the mass schedule directly with the office to make sure everything aligned with our plans. When we mentioned wanting our purchased items blessed, he immediately explained how and where to do it.Francisco is a true font of knowledge — offering insights, pointing out meaningful landmarks, and suggesting additional places we might enjoy on future trips. He also took us to an authentic Portuguese restaurant for lunch and recommended local wines that perfectly matched the meal. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine pride in his country made our experience unforgettable. If you’re visiting Portugal, I hope you’re lucky enough to book a tour with Francisco. He made our day special in every way.Muito obrigada, Francisco. Michelle from California

Our guide was Paulo Viegas. He picked up up from our hotel in Lisbon in a large, clean electric vehicle. Paulo was super knowledgeable about everywhere on our tour and about Portuguese history. He spoke excellent English and was happy to answer all of our questions. He took us to Batalha, Nazare, and Obidos. All of these places were amazing, especially Nazare. We skipped Fatima as it was pilgrim season and seething with people. He gave us as much time as we wanted to explore and had a lot of good tips, especially about places to have lunch in Nazare. The full day tour was well worth the price; we really enjoyed ourselves and learned a lot. The booking process online is smooth; I worked with Andre. Everything he said would happen, happened. We paid in advance with Pay Pal which made me a little nervous having read about tour scammers, but everything was perfect and this company is 100% legit. Paulo communicated with us by What's App which I rarely use, so it's a good idea to have that on your phone. Also, Paulo was a safe and law-abiding driver and the vehicle was clean and new. We appreciated the bottled water. I would highly recommend making the most of your time in Portugal and doing a tour with Swingo.

Wonderful private visit to World Heritage sites, and an extra stop to Óbidos. It was a full day tour

The tour was excellent, given by a knowledgeable guide named Jorge Santos. He made our day the most memorable of our stay in the Iberian Peninsula. The hotel pick up was a few minutes early. During the entire trip he was making sure that we were comfortable, getting all the information, and if we had any questions. With his experience, he was able to avoid the crowds. This made the experience more enjoyable. We recommend this tour to truly get to know many facts of Portugal’s history. The only disappointment was that we did not visit Bathala, which was mentioned in our tour confirmation.

We had a perfect guide and private tour today to Coimbra and Aveiro. Our guide, Júlio, is perfect bilingual and knows everything about his history and his country. He’s very friendly, polite and punctual.

Jose’ Luis Ferreira of Porto&Douro Travel, in Porto picked us up at our hotel in Coimbra, drove us to Aveiro where he reserved boat ride tickets for us, gave us a private walking tour of Aveiro, guided us to a great restaurant for lunch, drove us to a beautiful beach town near Aveiro called Costa Nova with short walking tour, then drove us to our hotel in Porto. He drives a smooth, sleek Mercedes sedan. He speaks perfect English. He was very courteous, and professional. He also gave us great suggestions for restaurants and activities in Porto. We will be utilizing him again tomorrow for a tour of Braga. We highly recommend him.

“Wow!”, That’s what our guide, Carlos told us we would find ourselves saying…and we did-over and over again. Such a beautiful and fascinating feast for the eyes. Carlos was an amazing guide; so knowledgeable and so funny and delightful to spend the day with. We enjoyed every moment of this tour. You will love it.

We used Fantastic Rides for 2 day trips - one to Fatima, Batalha, Nazare and Obidos and another day to Tomar. Our guide Luis was amazing. He was so fun and kind to my family, especially my 75 year old mother. He was always concerned that we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. The owner was extremely flexible by changing the date of our trip to Tomar at the last minute because my mother was not feeling well. Luis is so knowledgeable about Portugal's history and culture, and we all enjoyed learning so much in our 2 days with him. We felt like we were travelling with an old friend. Loved Luis and this company ! I highly recommend Fantastic Rides for anyone who wants a personalized and wonderful experience while visiting the Lisbon area.

Excellent guide, very kind and family-oriented, always looking for the best for the tourist.

Very friendly, personable, and knowledgeable about the country, the city, and Fatima. Helped us arrange another tour as well which was equally fun!! Would highly recommend.

We requested Ricardo Domingues as our tour guide because we had used him for a prior private tour and, again, he was great. He adjusted the destinations, and time at each, to our requests and preferences. He is polite, reliable, and always on time. And his English is very easy to understand. He even gave us recommendations for other cities on our trip.

Everything was excellent, especially the sites at Batalhya and Alcobaca and Nazare. The tour guide was gracious and knowledgable.

Fantastic Ride was a great choice for my group of 8 people. They were very flexible and accommodating for a big group. Our tour guide/ driver, Luis, was fun and a joy to spend time with. I would recommend this company to anyone going to Portugal.

Francisco, our tour guide and driver, did an outstanding job driving our 6-person group to Fatima and helping us understand the rich history and key areas to visit. The half day trip includes a 90 minute drive each way and about 2 to 2 1/2 hours visiting. Francisco picked us up at our hotel. The vehicle is a 7-passenger Mercedes van that is very comfortable. Francisco is a very friendly man that loves Lisbon and the surrounding area and shares great information during the drive. He found an excellent parking space very close to the main area, gave us a history of the events that happened there in 1917 and walked us to the place pointing out exactly where to go. Then he waited in his van as we explored, shopped and had lunch. I highly recommend to book this trip with Francisco.

Francisco was phenomenal! He provided a narrative explaining the history of the area. Being a history buff, I loved this. He took the time upon our return to Lisbon to take me to an incredible viewpoint high above the city. I would highly recommend Lisbon Day Trips! You will be happy to have booked any tour with him.
