Outstanding tour with Bobo of two of Beijing’s top must-see sights in one day!
Bobo is an outstanding guide who very efficiently helped us to visit both the Forbidden City in the morning and the Mutianyu Section of the Great Wall in the afternoon after lunch. Bobo was able to expertly guide us through these attractions in a very effective manner - skirting through the crowds to highlight the most interesting aspects. We also very much appreciated not only Bono’s expertise and deep experience but also her highly personable and warm nature. Bobo even provided me with patches for my sore ankle which made a great positive difference. Thank you Bobo for the outstanding guidance and care!! Much appreciated and we would love to return for more visits in the near future.

Great Service from MUBUS!
We had a great experience with MUBUS. The pick up process was very easy, smooth and convenient and we had a very comfortable bus ride to and from the Mutianyu Great Wall. Miss CiCi especially was very helpful and friendly. She gave a very informative explanation about the history of the great wall and provided us with route maps and helped us choose which tour route would be convenient for everyone based on their personal preferences. It was also very convenient for us because Miss CiCi could speak english well making it so much easier for us to understand and ask questions without using translators. She was really helpful in guiding us to the MUBUS station at the great wall premises and explaining how everything worked. The complimentary food and the buffet provided by MUBUS was exceptional and overall the tour package was well worth the price! My family and I had a wonderful time at the Great Wall. Thanks MUBUS and especially Miss CiCi!! 🌸

Another great option for those short on time and want to explore other key sites besides Forbidden City and Great Wall. Jessie was superb, both in terms of sharing the history and also management of the whole day, we were able to get ahead of traffic and peak rush and ended much earlier around 4pm. If you are Muslim though the lunch options are very limited in Hutongs so grab a quick pizza and explore the area a bit more instead. Jessie also accommodated my request to be dropped off at the 798 Art District instead of my hotel (if you have opted for pick and drop) which was super convenient and fully recommended! Lots of great dinner options there and easy to get a taxi back home.

Shanghai was a new experience, and neither of us spoke English. The English speakers in Shanghai are not numerous, so a guided tour with an English Interpreter was arranged. The tour was great, the interpreter was awesome, the private vehicle moving us around was a blessing, and the price was very reasonable. Would highly recommend. Cathy was a font of information, friendly, helpful, and her English was great. We did other tours in Shanghai, and trust me, English-speaking doesn't always mean English-speaking. I was very pleased.

A great way to see the treasures of Xi’an! Rita our guide helped us to get to see the Terra-cotta Warriors. She gave a good explanation of the history of warriors and suggested the path to take to see the best sites and get the best photos. (Please note that the Terra-cotta Warriors museum is crazy busy, so a guide who explains every artifact would be impossible). Rita gave us lots of time to see all the major highlights.Afterwards it was off to a good buffet lunch.Afterwards we visited the Wild Goose Pagoda. A must see for those interested in Chinese religion and/or literature.Rita is a very good guide - I would strongly recommend this tour.

Excellent Option for Small Group Tailored Tours
We had a really good time in Shanghai under the expert care of our guide Peggy and driver Mr Wang. We had a great introduction to the city and surrounding area. We selected the private tour option as a member of our group has difficulty walking.We were very impressed by the Benz minivan with the super comfortable orange seats and small steps that made it easier to get in and out of the vehicle. Our driver shifu Mr Wang was excellent. A smooth ride all day and we admired his adept manoeuvring through Shanghai traffic. We barely had to wait for pick-ups, and Mr Wang took great care to minimise walking by dropping us off as near as possible to the sights.Our guide Peggy took extra care of us by pacing our slowest member, constantly making sure there were plenty of places to stop to rest, and checking if all was ok. She introduced us to the various delicacies we could sample and engaged us in chit chat about the daily lives of the Shanghainese as we compared experiences from our different backgrounds. We enjoyed this deeper dive into the Chinese psyche beyond the usual travelogue. She gave us insider’s tips about alternative places away from the teeming crowds, was most helpful in listing out possible eateries to sample the local cuisine, writing down the names for us to locate and explore on our own, etc. When we wanted to try a restaurant recommended by friends for dinner, Peggy helped us locate the place and accompanied us to the door, making sure we did not get lost, before we parted ways. Even after our tour ended, she messaged to alert us that a certain museum was not open when we mentioned planning to visit on a certain day, saving us a wasted trip.We are also truly grateful when Peggy went over and beyond the call of duty, days after our tour ended, by helping to explain how we could retrieve some items we had left behind in our hotel. In fact, she called the courier company on her own initiative to help clarify matters for us. This was very much appreciated especially when we were stressed out with the unfamiliar courier system. In fact, Peggy proved much more helpful than the hotel and exceeded our highest expectations!Jenny's Shanghai Tours is an excellent option for small group tailored tours. My family recommends it highly.

A fantastic day out with our guide, Roger. He met us at our hotel and we drove to the Terracotta Wariors site where we were taken round. Roger was super knowledgeable and very personable. Then onto lunch and afterwards to the Big Goose Pagoda and the city wall. Everything was explained so well we really did enjoy the day. Would definitely recommend (and have Roger as your guide!)

Caroline was an absolute dream! From the very first moment, she welcomed us so warmly and made us feel incredibly comfortable. This honestly became one of the most beautiful and memorable days of our entire trip.She is an absolute professional and somehow always knew exactly where to go, where to stand and how to take the perfect photos. Some of the most beautiful pictures from our entire journey were taken with Caroline, and we will keep those memories forever.A very funny and sweet surprise: we are Iranian, and Caroline even knew a little Persian!
