Juancho , our guide, gave us a fantastic walking tour of San Cristobal de Las Casas. He was very flexible to the needs and preferences of my 12 year old daughter while managing to give us lots of interesting info about history, culture and architecture. We went to neighborhoods we would not have discovered on our own and we could see the even the (handcrafts) market from a different perspective . My daughter - who gets easily bored by standard tours- enjoyed the diversity of what we saw and the relaxed atmosphere.

Started at 6:30 am got back about 11 pm in Tuxtla Gutierrez. The waters were beautiful. Can only swim at the end of the tour for the first waterfall. Best to change at that time not wear swimsuit throughout. Bring towel. At the lake, the wood log ride was neat to the island. Can jump off 6M jump into lake. Cenote isn’t anything special, Wouldn’t care to see it again. There are little snacks and places to eat at each stop. Overall good driver, informative tour guides and nice experience. Bring water and snacks!!

Wonderful experience
The State of Chiapas seemed beautiful to me, from the point of view of natural beauty, archaeological sites, towns and cities. San Cristobal de la Casas is a magical city, with great colonial beauty, worth visiting. Its people are very friendly and helpful. It has a very varied hotel industry and multiple restaurants and food options. 100% recommended. I believe it is the greenest and most water-rich state in Mexico.

Our walking tour was well organised and gives you the opportunity to experience typical local customs at two different villages. We have visited two churches and had lunch at a typical family’s place, all entrances and food included in the price. Our guide Fernando was very nice and knowledgeable about the surroundings and the local customs, always making sure everything was going well for us and adapting to our pace during the walks. A very enjoyable hike in the high elevation forest just outside of San Cristobal de las Casas with a very enjoyable guide, Luis of Jaguar Adventures. He is very knowledgeable and speaks English very well although we tried to use our meager Spanish as much as possible. Some steep sections. Nice closeup views of bromeliads.

We are a tour group of nine persons from Russia and we booked a three trips with "Apasionado X Chiapas": day trip "Waterfalls El Chiflon and lagos Montebello", day trip "Canyon Sumidero" and day trip "Yaxchilan-Bonampack". And every trip was wonderful! Nobody was disapointed. It was great organization and very good quolity of service. Special thanks to our agent Felipe Mendez Espinoza. He was answering our every question and tried to fulfill our wishes as soon as it possible. Every detail of our tours was well thought out. We didn't have any problem. The pick up and transport was very good. We were provided with an comfortable minivan. Not a single delay! Thanks to our driver Juan!The nature of Chiapas is magnificent, amazing, wonderful! It's brilliant! We have unforgettable impressions! The waterfalls El Chiflon are impressive and Canyon Sumidero is breathtaking! We were swiming, we had an experience on Zip Line, we had a boat trips and canoes, we visited intresting ancient arqueologic areas! Everything was great! Everyone of us was happy and full of feelings. We made many cool shots!)) Next time we will book our trips in Chiapas only with "Apasionado X Chiapas"! Our thanks to all who organised our trips!!!
