Eat your heart out !!!
Francesca is so intelligent, friendly & funny!! We had an amazing afternoon of eating and drinking with her. We recommend booking this near the beginning of your stay in Cagliari because Francesca gives you a large list of her favorite pizza, pasta, gelato, cafe, bar & appertivo spots around the city - we used her recommendations for the remainder of our week in Cagliari! She will recommend so many places that you will not find on google/ Cool Destinations/ instagram. We were so grateful we had a local show us around her city. If you like to eat & drink this is the tour for you!!! We recommend this 10000%!!!! Do yourself a favor and book this!! Thank you Francesca!!!

A fun way to see Cagliari!
Our tour with Valentina was a great way to experience Cagliari in a relatively short period of time. She provided history, allowed us time to see multiple sites and shared her enthusiasm for this city! Driving thru the winding narrow lanes in her 1964 Fiat was a lot of fun. We received smiles from many tourists as we made our way thru the city.

Wonderful experience - do it!
We had a great couple of hours with Valentina who showed us her city, Cagliari, in the beautiful vintage car that once belonged to her husband's father. It was such a lovely, unique experience which we really enjoyed and would highly recommend. We were cruise passengers and Valentina picked us up and dropped us off at the port.

September vineyard tour in Cagliari
This was the best wine tasting experience ever. Frederico picked us up in front of our hotel and drove us to the winery. It was a small winery producing around 5,000 bottles per year. We spent the entire morning with the owner Giuseppe. We toured the vineyard with him explaining the entire winemaking process in great detail. We had lunch and tastings with Giuseppe tasting 4 wines and enjoying foods grown and made on the vineyard. A great experience that can’t be missed. Frederico is an excellent guide knowledgeable in wines and the history of Sardinia.

Zest for Life
This is a special experience let alone a special wine and food experience.First, the pick up was spot on time and the vehicle was comfortable. Franco is an affable and experienced guide. The winery host was Giuseppe (G in GL) who guides you through his grape growing and winemaking philosophies. How many times do you have the opportunity to spend time tasting delicious wine and food with a gracious host who is the owner and winemaker? Wine tastes are personal. You have the opportunity to sample (more than taste!) wines with insights into his style preferences.Giuseppe's story is one of a passion for wine, transformation of a beloved family tradition, family and a zest for life. Giuseppe's father and son are on the label of GIUA.The cost was well worth the experiencep.s. we bought some of the wine we tasted

The tour was well organized. Our guide, Franco, made sure everything ran smoothly and was very communicative, friendly and funny. This is a great option for someone who, for whatever reason, can't travel by their own. Su Nuraxi is extraordinary, unique place – a must-see in Sardinia.

Our tour of Cagliari was...
Our tour of Cagliari was perfectly timed for exploring the historic areas. Just a heads-up: those medieval streets are steep, with a lot of downhill walking, so make sure your knees are up for it! We took in a gorgeous panoramic view of the city from the park, visited Poetto Beach, and checked out the nearby natural salt ponds. We even got lucky enough to watch a flamingo spread its wings and take flight—such an incredible sight! Our guide was super knowledgeable and managed a group of 30 effortlessly. We wrapped up with a delicious Sardinian lunch of pizza, salad, and beer. Highly recommend!

Blue Zone adventures in Sardinia
From initial introduction to final experience the tour had exceeded expectation. I traveled with two young adults and itinerary that was partly planned to teach young generation of Blue Zone and its qualities of life have nailed it!!! Franco has been able to present the life style, people and ways of life to teach the importance of slowing down, the importance of village to support longevity, the quality food resources to extend and preserve human mind, body and soul. It’s refreshing to walk the streets of small village to see people gathered to chat, sip coffee, keys left in locks of front doors and a mayor of village scooping you for a ride to show you around. Franco is not only a guide with depth of knowledge to bring his culture alive but also very attentive to needs of us tourists. When weather was 40C he brought us to river and had all of us enjoy the natural resources this beautiful island had to offer. From jumping off cliffs to quiet moments of solitude the experience has been priceless. I will definitely look forward to going g on more adventures in Sardinia and would not hesitate to do it in company of Franco.

Guglielmo made our Cagliari stop the unexpected highlight of our trip

Highlights of Cagliari Private Tour by Van

Guglielmo made our Cagliari stop the unexpected highlight of our trip
We booked a private tour with Guglielmo Guidesardinia for our cruise stop in Cagliari, and it turned out to be one of the best experiences of our entire trip through Italy. Before the tour even started, Guglielmo was fantastic with communication, making sure we knew exactly where to meet him when we got off the ship, which took all the stress out of arrival. We'd already spent three days touring other cities and were honestly starting to feel a bit worn out, and he was wonderfully flexible in adjusting the day to match our energy level rather than sticking to a rigid itinerary. One of our travel party has limited mobility and uses a walker, and Guglielmo was so thoughtful throughout the day, always pulling up as close as possible for pickups and drop-offs. He also took real care in getting to know each of us, across three generations of family members, so he could tailor the tour to what each of us actually wanted to see and do.His knowledge of Sardinian history and the region was truly extensive, and the context he shared as we drove between sites was honestly even more fascinating than the sites themselves. My kids also loved getting to see the flamingos! As a special touch, Guglielmo arranged for us to have lunch at a friend's restaurant that's normally only open for dinner - they welcomed us in for an incredible meal of local cuisine we wouldn't have found otherwise.By the end of the day, we truly felt like we were part of his family. We can't recommend Guglielmo highly enough and hope to have the chance to tour with him again on future trips to Sardinia.
