We had an incredible experience on this lagoon tour, with four amazing snorkeling stops. We saw beautiful manta rays, an impressive coral garden, swam with sharks and stingrays, and finished with an unforgettable encounter with eagle rays. Every stop was special and offered something different.After exploring the lagoon, we went to a beautiful motu for a delicious buffet lunch. The food was amazing, and we had time to relax and enjoy the beach in this incredible setting.One of the highlights was also the traditional coconut demonstration, where we learned how to open a coconut, grate it, and make fresh coconut milk. It was a lovely way to discover more about Polynesian culture.A special mention to our guide and captain, Tuhiti, who was incredibly helpful, funny, and always smiling. He created a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the entire day.This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip in French Polynesia. A perfect combination of adventure, nature, culture, and relaxation. We would absolutely recommend this tour! 🌺

We had an absolutely perfect day on the tour "Full-day Bora Bora experience with lunch on Motu Fanfan"! From the first to the last minute, simply everything was perfect: The stops in the lagoon were dreamlike, snorkeling with rays and sharks was a unique experience, and the food on the motu was simply delicious. A very special thank you goes to our guide Chris! He was without a doubt the best guide one could wish for. Chris was incredibly nice, extremely warm, and created a unique atmosphere with his wonderful manner. You notice immediately how much he loves his home and how much joy it gives him to share it with his guests. Anyone who comes to Bora Bora should definitely book this tour. We just returned from our second trip with reef Discovery! We had the same guide we had 9 years ago. He was just as amazing as he was then! Fabiane took us to all the best places for snorkeling, especially on a day when the ocean was rough. He knew just where to go. We had a wonderful day, a really special time on their private Motu for lunch, It was an OMG day ....money well spent!

We had our best day in bora bora with this private tour. Fabien is very professional and fun! We saw lots of manta, eagle ray, turtle, stingray, shark and tropical fish. The water lunch is epic!

Captain Christ is an exceptional person!! He speaks both English and French very well and accompanies you on the adventure with care and attention! The excursion helps you see the entire island by taking a 360-degree tour and has many snorkeling stops where you will be able to see a lot of typical specimens: Sharks, giant Manta Rays, Eagle Rays, and Stingrays. In addition, a delicious lunch is served and the day is concluded with the “coconut show,” a detailed explanation of the coconut plant in all its forms. An unmissable appointment if you are staying in Bora Bora!

Worth it. Might be the only thing worth it in Bora Bora because the main island sure doesn't come close to the expectations one comes here with, but the views on this trip were worth it. Tuhiti was a great guide, great English speaking skills and great attitude.

Excellent adventure with Reef Discovery….the personal attention on the private tour with the incredible snorkeling and amazing water lunch was totally worth it!!! Our tour guide Fabien was a perfect leader…very knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend the day with and we would highly recommend him. We had such a great day we requested Fabien to take us out on a 2nd private 1/2 day snorkel which took us to many new locations! We were 6 couples traveling together. We had 2 boats on october 13th, 2025, because the maximun capacity of each boat is for 8 guest. Our guides were Fabien and I do not remeber the name of the other guy, but both of them were super friendly and super attentive. The boats looks new, clean and very good manteined. We took the option for a full day tour They picked us up at the pier of our hotel (the Intercontinental Thalasso, which is amazing as well), and at the begining we went to snorkel and swim with the stingrays and the small sharks of the reef (they are inofensive), which was and unforgetable experience, then we went to, swim and snorkel to the reef with thousand of fishes plenty of colors, which was an marvellous experience as well. But the best part was to have lunch in a private Motu (island), literally inside the water, with a lot of fishes, small stingsrays arround us, and some baby shaks as well. The food was a DELICIOUS buffet, very fresh and great variety of local dishes. The guides took great care of us all the time and during the lunch. They served us red and white wines, champagne, beers, water and soft drinks. By far, this is one of the most memeorable experience for our lives time, it was really AMAZING!!!!! At the end of the lunch, the guides took us back to our hotel to rest for 2 hours, and then, they came back to pick us up for a Sunset evening with champagne. One of the boats playaed music, so we sang and dance at the boats enjoying the beautiful sunset of Bora Bora. 2 hours later, they drove us the our hotel, and we all of us felt plenty of happines. This tour is amazing, the service of Reef Discovery is exeptional, and the guides very funny, attentive and so kind. WE HIGLY RECOMENT REEF DISCOVERY for a Half or Full day at Bora Bora, and do not miss the lunch at the Motu inside the water, you will rember it forever.

The sail w/the captain & her crew was unforgettable. We appreciated the expertise as we have been boating for decades. It was nice to be catered to in such a lovely way. The drinks & food aboard & on the floating bar was enjoyed by all 12 of us. The lunch site on the motu was tasty & just a great time. The only bad part was that an all day sail was not long enough! Great times!

Our day started around 9am on the Vitamin Sea catamaran! We were joined by our friends that we were vacationing with so that made the party 4. It was so very awesome that we got to experience this adventure with those we were close to and not strangers. Clement our Captain & first mate Amy were top notch! They provided snacks and Amy made a fab rum punch Tahiti style. They showed us the lagoon and we got to snorkel in “the aquarium” So many colorful fish! Our captain dove and caught a huge starfish. He was certified and highly trained! Felt safe with them both! My flipper came off and sank but he dove after it, found it and all was well again! We had lunch on a Motu prepared by the locals. It was a delectable lunch of BBQ marlin, chicken, rice, assorted vegetables, fruits, coconut bread, banana pudding and a local fish dish with coconut milk, cucumbers & onions. Everything was yummy. We choose to eat at a table that was partially in the water which was a new experience! The first mate served us a lovely Rose’ to go with our meal. We also had a choice of juices and water. After hanging out in the water and end the sunshine & company, we were taxied out to our catamaran and had a leisurely ride back to our resort. Thanks again, captain Clement & first mate Amy for an amazing adventure!!

A huge thank you to Chris for this beautiful day. We were able to see leopard rays, stingrays and manta rays, blacktip sharks, and the magnificent coral garden. A short meal break with a basket weaving workshop. We had a very good day.

We just returned from this boat excursion with Bora Bora Lagoon and our eyes are still full of wonder. It was an impeccable experience from start to finish: we really could not have asked for better! A heartfelt thank you to the entire staff for the kindness, cheerfulness, and love for their land that they managed to convey to us.

We did the August 29th day trip, the extra guides Hiti and Tony, the perfect tour, magical Motu Fanfan with a top-notch lunch, a lagoon with thousands of shades of blue. A plus: the quick and very smooth return. I recommend +++++ Thanks ☺️
