I had a great time on my tour with my guide, Jorge. It took around 1.5hrs hiking to reach the top where you can see the lagoons. With the high altitude the hike is a little draining but the scenery is worth it and is beautiful.

Esteban and Alfonso were excellent guides for this tour. They were very knowledgeable and ensured that everything was well-executed. The visits to Guatavita and Guatavita Lagoon were beautiful, providing great cultural context for the region. We had visited the Museo del Oro the day prior, so everything tied in well. Lunch in Zipaquirá was at a nice restaurant and consisted of a tasty traditional Colombian plate. The subsequent visit to Catedral de Sal was incredible. We had plenty of time to explore the beautiful chambers and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

What an amazing tour! Let’s start by talking about the beautiful drive up the mountainside of Bogotá, simply amazing! The authentic breakfast snack (arepa) and drink we had before the hike, were really tasty. The hike exposes you to timeless and breathtaking moments and views. Further, the hike requires a certain level of fitness, so please be aware when booking. There is a physically demanding aspect to this tour. However, it is worth the trek! Most importantly, our tour guide, Gigio, was the best!! Gigio was very knowledgeable and provided valuable information about the region, the country, and its history. Also, Gigio did a great job of making sure we took breaks and pointing out picturesque moments, and he provided recommendations to delicious restaurants and must-see attractions around the city. In all, if you are a nature loving, thrill seeker, this is a must do tour in Bogotá!

A lovely day exploring Zipaquira Salt Cathedral and Guatavita Lagoon. Our first stop was at Guatavita Lagoon. I love the legend of El Dorado, the lost city of gold, so it was a must to see a place that has possible links to this famous legend. Raul, our guide, was tremendous. His knowledge about the lagoon was immense, but he only relayed the most important and interesting bits. The hike around the lagoon was beautiful and was relatively easy. After the hike, we had lunch at a local Colombian restaurant, which was delicious and filling. We visited the Zipaquira Salt Cathedral in the afternoon. It was very interesting. Raul was again a wealth of knowledge, and made sure we got out of the maze of tunnels. My partner and I are not religious, but we both enjoyed learning about the site’s mining history and viewing the artist’s depiction of the 12 stages of life of Jesus Christ.

We recently went on Impulse Travel's hike to La Chorrera waterfall, and it was an incredible experience. Our guide was knowledgeable, and the views were breathtaking. The waterfall itself was a majestic sight, surrounded by lush greenery that added to the overall beauty of the surroundings. I highly recommend this excursion for nature enthusiasts and anyone seeking a memorable adventure.

Ideal if you have limited time to do two main trips from Bogota in one day (although it is a long day). Bonus was the terracotta house. Excellent tour guide and driver. Lunch was excellent as was the stop for a traditional Colombian breakfast (not included in the price)

Great trip!
We had a fantastic time on this tour. Our guide, Jaime, was amazing and answered all our many, many questions, giving us plenty of time to see both the Salt Cathedral and Guatavita. (Both are amazing places, and well worth the visit.) Lunch was fabulous, and we appreciated Jaime's assistance in ordering! Both the guide and the driver were so kind and helpful. We really appreciated being picked up and dropped off where we were staying, and loved the yummy snacks and coffee at a great little bakery along the way. It was a long day with traffic and distance. I'm not sure it would've been as great if we'd had small kids along -- too much driving -- but we enjoyed the day very much, and truly appreciated our guide and driver!

Bolivar Plaza appears clumsy compared. This was clean salubrious and with poised theatricity, retaining its ingredients. It added to the overblown Salt Cathedral saga. Spanish Colonial style, colourful and with the town fragrant and in a good scale. Worth walking, enjoying the poetic simplicity. The open, undulating surface wise square, provides space and foregone time pervades it

It's a great experience. Our Tour guide Laura was friendly and knowledgeable. Our driver also shared his experiences. It rained out entire time at El Dorado (Guatavita Lagoon) I wish that it was sunny so I could take better photos.
