Very rewarding.
Very nice to learn more about olive oil (the whole production process) and taste the differences. Then a joint lunch with of course the necessary olive oil from our own production and many local products. Very nice, tasty and almost full-day program. The daughter talks with a lot of passion about the family business and their “golden” product and the enthusiasm of the daughter and both her parents is extremely contagious; they are really proud of all the good that Italy has to offer and of their own products. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the region!!

This was a wonderful experience, everyone was so friendly, it was fun and relaxed. We laughed a lot, learned about language, culture and of course, how to make the dishes we later ate! The whole experience was immersive and we felt like we were amongst friends. It was fantastic and I highly recommend it!

Our trip to Abruzzo Italy was an ancestral visit to the towns and region where our ancestors lived. We wanted to experience firsthand the culture, geography, climate and history of the region and its surroundings. Our tour guide Marino Cardelli worked diligently to customize this experience to meet this goal. What we experience with Marino exceeded our hopes and dreams. Each day was filled with new adventure and learnings. In the towns we visited we met with local historians, dignitaries, his family and friends and experienced entry into places off the tourist trail. Without a doubt this was the most memorable trip of our lifetime. With Marino you truly experience La Bella Vita of Abruzzo and feel like part of his family. We can’t say enough about this wonderful person Marino Cardelli and highly recommend his services.

Great experience truffle hunting with Marino and Jet (the dog that actually did the hunting). We learned a lot about truffles, and subsequently had a wonderful meal. The real highlight, however, was spending time with truly charming and welcoming people of Abruzzo.

I really enjoyed my time with my chef Giulia. I spent a wonderful 3 hours learning how to cook the three basic pastas. She was very generous with her time, fed me lots of extra goodies that she makes at home including her own limoncello (delicious!!!). Looking forward to going back with my family.

Immerse yourself in years of family tradition of olive production
This tour knocked us completely out of our socks - without much expectation we arrived and were invited directly for coffee. The tour with Chiara was totally insightful and super instructive, you can notice strongly that the family history goes back a long way and everyone craves it!The olive oil tasting and the snack afterwards were even better than anything we thought - Chiara and her family have all the qualifications and competencies they are also trying to pass on in a short time!

Fantastic
The tour by the local guides, Marino and Alberto, was very interesting and fun. We went out hunting truffles (and actually found some) with three trained and friendly dogs. The dogs belonged to our host Adamo who also is the owner of the "truffle farm" where we were hunting. Our guides and hosts were very kind, communicative and eager to answer all of our questions. Afterwards we went for a delicious dinner (9 courses i think and all with truffles :o) with local wines. Fully recommended.

A tour that felt like family
Our experience with Experience BellaVita was unparalleled! The communication was superb before the event, even though we only booked the truffle hunting tour the day before. We arrived and were greeted by the cheerful and knowledgeable Marino, who, along with other guests taught us so much about truffle hunting, it’s history, and answered all our questions. The experience itself was so enjoyable with two beautiful dogs.After the search for truffle we had the opportunity to buy some local products and lunch, which both are a big must! The lunch was simply incredible! It was nothing like we have had before and after the end of the tour we felt like we were all becoming a family with other tourists and Marino, sitting at a large table and sharing glasses upon glasses of wine. This experience didn’t feel like just a tour, although it surely began that way. At the end we gained a great friend with whom we hope to cook with his Nonna for our next visit!

This wasn’t just a tasting it was like being welcomed into a big, warm Italian hug. The family who runs the estate (three generations strong!) greeted us with genuine warmth, shared stories of their olive oil tradition, and guided us through a flavorful tasting of their incredible oils.What made it unforgettable? After the tasting, they cooked us a homemade lunch with fresh cheese, pizza and cold cuts, and plenty of their olive oil, of course. We ate and laughed, and felt like part of the family.If you’re anywhere nearby, don’t miss this experience. It’s delicious, authentic, and full of heart.

Great olive oil tasting
It was a wonderful experience. We arrived 15 minutes early but for some reason, Cool Destinations had not notified them. Apparently this was not the first time this happened to them Nonetheless, they quickly improvised and gave us a full tasting explaining the diferent qualities of oil and how it was made. He also provided us with food samplings as well as a little wine to go. At the end he gave us a litlle certificate to say we completed our oil tasting course. The owner was very friendly and we bought some of his products. We would visit him again. We highly recommend this tour.
