It was an incredible two days!! Marco, Silvia and the whole Basecamp 523 team are phenomenal, they opened the 2024 tent accommodation season with us by adapting the tour to our needs. We traveled 80 km on e-bike, climbing to the top of Monte Cucco. My friend and I didn't even think we were capable of it! It is a highly recommended experience even for the less experienced (like us). Marco is an exceptional, attentive and competent guide. The camp with the suspended tents is taken care of down to the smallest detail and the atmosphere in the evening was magical (food, wine, guitars, fire and stars... what more could you want?). It felt like we were among lifelong friends. We will carry these two days in our hearts and can't wait to repeat them😊

This was an amazing experience!! Marco was so friendly and knowledgeable about the sites around and made sure we were going at our own paces and felt comfortable with the terrain. The few downhills were a little more than I could personally handled so I walked them but the E-bike really helped me keep up with my boyfriend and dad who mountain bike back home a lot. It is a FULL day on the bike so I would recommend bringing bike shorts if you have them, but the helmets provided were comfortable and clean. It was really a top 3 experience on our whole trip.

My wife and I spent two weeks in Italy and the E-Bike+Tree Tents experience was by far the best part of the trip. If you really want to get the most out of this, go in blind like we did and just book it. It’s worth it!Who is this experience for? Anyone who enjoys being outdoors, enjoys natural and historical beauty, can appreciate learning about other people’s cultures, and is looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway. It was the perfect mix of guided and unguided adventure.How were the guides? Our ride guide, Flaviano was from the region and did a phenomenal job transferring his love for the area to us. Silvia joined us during the camping portion and brought spectacular energy with her. Both were very kind, helpful, and fun!How was the ride? The ride was extraordinarily scenic and took us through several beautiful locations. Flaviano stopped by many notable areas to point out gorgeous views of rivers, mountains, valleys, everything! He taught us about some of the history and customs of the towns we stopped by as well, taking us through many places that we would have never seen on a more mainstream tour in Italy.We also stopped at a few towns and notable locations, with Flaviano giving a brief history as we went along. We enjoyed some of the local flavors and some fresh brewed caffè during out breaks.How was the camping portion? The camping portion was pretty unstructured, which my wife and I loved. We camped with one other couple who were very sweet. While we all ate together, we weren’t handcuffed to each other and were able to enjoy time on our own hiking the trail system of the campground. The food was great and plentiful, and there’s gluten free options if needed.Are the tents comfortable? The tree tents are remarkably comfortable, and if you’ve camped before they’re warmer than ground tents. We’re considering getting our own!Do you have to be fit? The ride was about 40km long, using light+medium boost on the bike we used about 40% of the bike’s battery. We weren’t sore the next day. Mountain bike/trail experience isn’t required, but general bicycling experience is. While we had to put in effort to move, we weren’t sore afterwards.Overall, I can’t recommend this enough. If I could change anything about my trip, I would have done one of the longer excursions available from this group. It was THAT great.

Beautiful experience, the coast is very beautiful, swimming in a clear sea. Fabio our skyper is friendly, discreet and knows the area well. We tasted local cold meats and a very good wine.

Cannot recommend this highly enough, we had a fantastic day. The whole family of 5 (kids ages13-22) were so happy, we cycled through beautiful scenery, swam in the river, visited a magical church and arrived home exhausted! Marco was a brilliant guide and the electric bikes were first class, really fun.

Highly recommend this tour. We had the best time. The landscape is amazing and the Ghost town is a unique experience. The bikes were great and the guides were fantastic. I will definitely do another tour the next time I'm in Le Marche!

Great experience! We enjoyed the trip. By far we had the most elegant sailingboat. Fabio is discrete, kind and friendly. He gave information during the trip. The place where we could swim was nice and calm, not crowdy even in high season. The lunch was perfect. We recommend this trip to everybody who can enjoy calmth and beauty

A very nice experience this private tour with Fabio. We did this late afternoon until sunset. Fabio told a lot about the history of the boat and his past with the boat. We had a swimming stop and ate delicious snacks with a glass of wine.

Really nice boat ride, polite and helpful staff to explain the wonders of the area, typical aperitifs with very good local products. I recommend it.

This was an incredible experience. The boat is called DonMar and it is a historic boat that has been prevailing over 55 years! It was incredible to be able to sail on DonMar.Fabio, its owner (3rd generation and its sailor was very attentive, genuine, professional, and knowledgeable. His guided tour while sailing made our experience truly remarkable. My wife and I had a great time! The food from a traditional shop was very tasty, and the wine we had was also excellent, perfect temperature! The timings allocated to swim were also just perfect. A great experience that I would definitely recommend and do it again! Thank you Fabio! We wish you all the best :)
