We had a wonderful experience on this fishing trip. Would highly recommend. We caught many fish - 3 different species - haddock, mackeral and gray gurnard. They pulled up the crab nets and cooked that up for us all to eat then at the end cooked up the fish we caught on the BBQ. We got to see an eagle come down and grab a fish too.The guides were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The captain was great as well. It was an excellent evening and you get great views of the area from the boat as well.

Excellent Guide. Good shore excursion for cruises
I was on a Hurtigruten Cruise up the Norway Coast and opted to arrange this instead of going on the excursion that my cruise was offering. So glad I did! It is the perfect amount of time...not too long or too short. Comfortable mini-bus that can go up to the overlook area of the city when larger buses cannot. This means you do not have to hike all the way up the stairs.Several stops included some beautiful scenery and commentary with interesting history. We also had a short break at a wonderful cafe/shop with gifts made by local artisans. Water and soda was provided by our guide, Rolf, who was personable and helpful. He made sure I knew exactly where to meet the mini-bus by sending me a map via email. It was as easy walk from the Hurtigruten pier. Some other people from other cruises were on board the bus as well and they seemed to enjoy it very much. Highly recommended!

Great experience- highly recommend!
We absolutely loved this tour - got to see many highlights we never could have managed on our own. Margita was an excellent host/driver/tour guide. We enjoyed several scenic stops, a gorgeous ferry ride, a quant lunch at an old farmstead and breathtaking scenery at every turn. It is a long day with lots of driving but we feel like we got to see and know this beautiful country so well. Highly recommend!!

A great day of fishing! We loved it.
Our family of three totally loved fishing in Alesund. Arni was an exceptional guide who helped us catch lots of fish - lots of mackerel but also some pollock and haddock. Then he cooked them up for us and they were so delicious. He also cooked us an amazing muscle soup. The weather was cool and rainy and windy but he still made it an exceptional experience. He was patient and lots of fun. We had an awesome day.

What an amazing trip
What an amazing trip! The teenagers in particular loved the speed of the rib over the sea. The views were breathtaking and the wildlife fabulous. Highlights include the island cliff covered in seabirds, six sea eagles and lots of seals. Big thanks to William for the excellent experience and for the donut rib turns on the way home. Highly recommend this trip!!

Just Amazing!!
This was the absolute best tour! Rolf was friendly, funny, and clearly has a deep love for his country and what he does. We learned so much from him and stopped at so many spots to explore. When I realized that I booked a tour that drove down the mountain on the Trollstigen hairpin turns, I was a bit nervous but Rolf is a fantastic driver and I never felt scared once. Our family loved everything about this tour, appreciated the bagged lunch (he even took care of our gluten free family member), and the Norwegian ice cream is the best in the world. Thank you so much and best of luck on your future plans, Rolf!
