We went on the tour of Maligne Lake to sacred Spirit Island with Nelson and Mitchell. They were fantastic guides ,Mitchell was incredibly informed about the cultural and historic context of the lake and the sacred ground . He was funny and engaging and made a point of answering questions. Nelson did a great job of getting us there and back safely . Mitchell threw in some recommendations of places to check out in Jasper which was appreciated 😊

It was a rainy day but it didn’t dampen our experience. Klegan was our guide and Alex was our boat captain. Both young men did an outstanding job. Both very knowledgeable about the history of the area and very personable. We would highly recommend this experience and especially if Klegan and Alex are leading the way.

Gorgeous lake, comfortable seating in boat. Our tour guide Maddie and Captain Emma added to our enjoyment with the history and stories of the ancient people first around the lake. We would do it again.

trevor was our tour guide, super lovely guy who told us so much about the areas ecology, animals, history etc! was very interesting. my only draw back was i thought the wildlife tour would involve going to some more niche places rather than just taking maligne lake road. there’s no promises of this in the description of course just my impression. so just something to note! the wildlife tour is just the drive up to the lake before the cruise and then the same road back down. i overall still really cool day out but be prepared to not see any wildlife, as of course it’s wild. we didn’t see any on our tour but drove up the road later in the evening ourselves and saw a bear and moose. you swap your guides for the cruise, these guys are also lovely and very knowledgeable, altho some of the info they tell you is repetitive to what your shuttle driver tells you as not everyone on the cruise is part of your tour group.

Easy drive from Banff. Wonderful, spectacular views. Loved the Minnewanka moment of silence. Tho would have like a bit more. We were lucky enough to hear a loon! Saw an eagle bur no other wildlife. Stopped at Two Jack and Johnson lakes driving back to banff. Matt and Vik did a great job. Thanks to Vik for suggesting sunshine gondola! We loved it.

First of all we missed the scheduled Sept 13 tour, horrible mistake!! Cool Destinations scheduled us for the next day! This was awesome, we had reciprocated the previous day when Cool Destinations cancelled our bus trip to Banff etc, we agreed to be moved to a different time slot, so everything worked out, thank you! The Lake Maligne boat tour was awesome!! Overall the weather was really on our side in Lake Maligne as well the Banff bus tour! Thank you so much! Hank Wink Michele Buttweiler.

Fabulous lake cruise even in the rain ! Spirit island was out of this world and the scenery was second to none ! Would defo recommend! The tour guide Leah and driver kira were brilliant and kept us totally entertained with knowledge and facts along the way

It is nice and casual. Make sure you have a fully charged phone and or camera. Your time at Spirit Island is just 15 minutes, don’t waste it.

Though it poured it down when we arrived, by the time we went out the sun was out. The forecast changes here every 10 minutes. The boat trip with Matt the captain and Pat the guide was excellent, pat is vdery knowledgeable and explained things very well. It is a good trip to do and very peaceful being out on the lake.

We had a very good time on the Boat tour. The crew was very professional. Check-in was easy and the guide was very informative about the lake in the local area would highly recommend.

Jasper your was great. Our guide did everything he could to show us as many wild life as possible and was very passionate about Jasper Parls. Malign lake was very nice and Speitit island was amazaing

Captain Kat & Guide Mitch gave us a very informative & entertaining cruise. Mitch interacted with each guest to make sure that all of our questions were answered. Very good!Very enjoyable, but over-priced.

This was a perfect boat cruise to Spirit Island on Maligne Lake in Jasper National Park! The staff, boat, scenery and information given was excellent! Was magical to see...and FEEL all the beauty around! Highly recommend!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
