Top Alajuela Full-day Tours

Amazing experience! Just as it was described on Cool Destinations and so much fun. You'll have plenty of time to see everything. The hot springs were my favorite part, sooo relaxing and plenty of time to spend there. The views are fantastic too. Fernando was our tour guide, he was awesome!! Lots of fun facts, very kind, and great driver. My husband and I were the only native English speakers in the tour group but knew enough Spanish that we preferred to try listening to some of the tour in Spanish. Fernando is a bilingual guide and accommodated us perfectly, speaking in a way we could understand while also keeping it fun and engaging for everyone. He also explained parts in English whenever we needed it.Also, at one point in the trip I had an upset stomach and became a little car sick (not fault of driver or any food from the trip, was just me). He was super kind about it and handled it smoothly. We all had a blast and I would absolutely recommend this trip! Everyone we interacted with was great. Huge shout-out to Fernando for making the day so great!

This trip was amazing! Our guide Fernando was so nice and he taught us a lot! My wife and I have been casually learning Spanish and he made it fun for us to practice. The sights were beautiful and the hot springs were a highlight of our trip to Costa Rica. Would recommend!

Great trip! Steven was our tour guide and was fantastic. The food was good that the tour provided. The cultural show was lame though. No excitement and only lasted 3 minutes. Would still recommend this trip. But don’t get excited for the show

fernando is well experienced driver /tour guide as he’s very knowledgeable about the country and every question asked was answered willingly and informatively. He was very helpful, kind and would go above and beyond to attend to our requests . The trip in itself is more than enjoyable and worth it! loved the inclusive coffee with cheese and tortilla the delish lunch and dinner and fresh healthy fruit juices. All of it i enjoyed and made me fall in love in costa rica as well with the beautiful luscious forest volcano and plantations

If you go with Alex, you will have the best time doing this tour. He is great at explaining every detail of the park. Thanks to his patience and hearing expertise we were available to see al lot of diversity.

Very knowledgeable tour guide that cares about you at all times. Clear instructions throughout the day. Makes several stops during the tour

The tour was great! We were able to see three out of six sloths and saw other animals as well. The waterfall was beautiful but you could not get close to it. 10/10 recommend this tour.

Amazing time with Miguel and Felipe! They were very friendly and shared many interesting facts of Costa Rica. 10/10 recommend for everyone!!!

Our tour guide Steven was amazing, he was so informative on every place we stopped. He even stopped along side the road to see a sloth in a tree and also some birds. I would definitely recommend this tour. Also, the driver was so incredibly nice and did an amazing job at driving safe in the weather conditions.

Definitely worth the money and time. Alex Blanco was very knowledgeable and kept great energy. Ziplining was amazing! The waterfalls were beautiful.

Wow, wow, and more wow! Our guide and driver, Alex, curated a magical day of surprises and delights. We give him a solid 200 out of 10! He turned city traffic jams into an introduction to the geography and culture of Costa Rica using a map the entire van could see. What might look like a long drive in the description became a journey of discovery at each of Alex’s carefully chosen spots. Lunch and dinner were filling and delicious. We stayed on schedule without feeling rushed, with multiple stops to break up the trip. The landscape is unbelievably beautiful and well worth the drive. The Arenal volcano delivers - we even saw steam from yesterday’s eruption! The hot springs is a relaxing and beautiful place with a view of the volcano and pools surrounded with flowers, bamboo, and so much greenery. Waterfalls, animals, surprises, beauty, and fun - the perfect day withe the perfect guide.

We had such an amazing time on this tour, you definitely get your moneys worth! Our tour guide Steven was amazing. You could tell he loved his job with the way he shared the culture of Costa Rica on the ride to La Fortuna. We even made a stop to see sloths! He gave us picture recommendations and even took pictures for us as well! All of the stops were jaw dropping. The coffee, juice, snacks and meals were all delicious! The zipline was incredible, and the tour guides were amazing as well, made you feel safe and secure throughout the experience. The Maleku village demonstration was a great way to end the zipline! And the hot springs were the perfect way to end the adventure, a nice way to relax! Definitely book here for a once in a lifetime experience!

Very good tour, lots to do. Good local food included Be prepared for a long ride back and the traffic.

Great day! We were the only group booked on this tour for the day, but Fernando made sure to give us lots of information about the provinces of Costa Rica and about Central America as a whole. Manuel Antonio NP was beautiful, where we got to see monkeys playing in the trees and several types of plants. Fernando gave us a ~25 minute tour (walk) from the entrance of the park to the beach, where he then left us for a few hours. The water was incredibly warm and the sun was strong! We easily could've stayed another 3 hours. Lunch was served on the roof of a local hotel overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Alex is the best guide you could ask for! He is very attentive, sweet, caring, and funny. We enjoyed many stops to check out waterfalls, iguanas, birds, and some sloths. I recommend this tour to everyone! Thank you Alex for such a special day filled with smiles and laughs!

The early wake up was well worth it for a full day of adventure! Our guide, Alaberto, was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and shared insights about the area, terrain, and wildlife. He even took us to a few hidden gems throughout the park that we would have missed otherwise. Thank you for a great tour!
