Top Zagreb Dining Experiences

A wonderful experience! I learned so much about Brix liquors - they delicious and very high quality. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. I enjoyed this experience thoroughly and recommend it highly. :)I only have 3 recommendations. - One, that you offer non-private tours so that solo travelers like me can meet other travelers. - Two, that you include a tour of the distillery and an explanation of the machinery. That would be so interesting and a great photo op! - Three, that you find a distributor in the US - I wish I could buy these liquors locally!

Tea was an extremely inviting and friendly guide making this a very personal experience. She is a genuine foodie and freely provides insights into life as a local in Zagreb with the culture/food balance perfect. The food was authentic and plentiful and I can’t recommend this tour enough.

This was the best and most comprehensive food tour we have ever taken! Tea was wonderful; so friendly and knowledgeable and she went to great lengths to explain the heritage and history of the Zagreb area and food. She even provided excellent dining suggestions for the rest of our trip.

Amazing experience. The selection of spirits is top notch, the tastes are perfect with the artwork that speaks for itself. Adrian the host is the most kind person willing to go above and beyond to explain the details of the craft. Essential visit in Zagreb.

Had a really nice day trip. Kumrovec is a beautiful little village with lots of history and a very relaxing atmosphere. Everything was well organized and the guide was friendly. Definitely worth visiting if you want to see something different near Zagreb.

As a Croatian from the continental part, I was looking for something fun to do in Hvar that would not be just another party night in a club. I like the wines and name tipsy is so fitting because everyone get a bit tipsy and vibe is super chill

The wine and food was amazing. Great place for meeting new people, with good music! A great setting to try local, flavourful Croatian wines. Recommend for everyone!

The ethnic town/museum is spectacular: beautiful (nature and buildings) and perfectly preserved. I wanted to go because I am especially interested in Tito's history, but the museum is super interesting even if his house was not there, because it perfectly shows what life was like for Croatian villagers in the 19th century (mainly, but also 20th). The guide too, super nice; and after the visit to the ethnic village, he took me (I was alone) to an event in which different wine producers in the area presented their wines and competed for which was the best. There I was able to drink everything I wanted, eat some local food and listen to live music. Everything delicious, everything beautiful. I recommend 100%.

This was a great afternoon in Zagreb. It is a real wine cellar in the middle of Zagreb. We tried 5 beautiful wines & had a delicious traditional lunch. Very enjoyable.

This was the best tour we did on our 10 day trip in Croatia. Highly recommend!! Tasting the cuisine of the area really elevated our vacation experience and doing so early on in our trip was especially helpful. Tea is a fabulous tour guide and it was a real joy to see the city from her perspective. So much food to taste!! Definitely come with an appetite!

This is a wonderful way to taste your way through typical Croatian food. Tea, our tour quite was phenomenal. She is extremely knowledgeable and shared her favorite foodie spots with us. We were a small group of 3 so she was able to be flexible with timing at each location. She even shared some homemade grappa/brandy with us. The sour cherry was amazing. Be prepared with empty stomachs as this tour provides a LOT of tastings followed by a lovely lunch of hearty Croatian food. We chose stuffed peppers, roasted turkey and grilled liver. It was YUMMY!!

I came to the House of Spirits with my boyfriend for his birthday and we had a really good time. We tasted locally crafted spirits and were given a history on how they were made and the process behind the spirits. This made the tasting interactive and engaging him. The owner was really personable and knowledgeable on the products, I would recommend this experience to anyone looking to do something different whilst in Zagreb.

Great place to find delicious BBQ and wine and met interesting people here...I drink wine and eat the delicious meat, enjoy the beautiful views. perfect!

Clearly this new distillery is the owner’s passion. He shared stories about getting started and how he experiments with different flavor profiles to create his products. One thing, however, was that he lists this as a tasting with chocolate pairings. This only happened with one of the drinks so it’s not really accurate. Otherwise it was a fun time.

This was one of the best food tours we have taken. Our guide Tea was amazing. You will learn the history of the food itself along with general history of the city & country. Tea also brought along a homemade baked good from her kitchen which was truly a special touch. She took very good care of us by asking us questions of what type of restaurants we liked (casual vs more full meals, wines, beer, or cocktails), so she could give us recommendations for the rest of our week in Zagreb. The next day you will receive all the information of where you went on the tour and all her recommendations on WhatsApp. Seriously, please go on this tour hungry as there is much food to be eaten.
