I highly recommend this tour and driver Levon
I participated in this private tour on September 17 in a group of six. The full-day tour lasted 13 hours, making stops at such locations of historical significance: Khor Virap, Noravank and Tatev Monastery (via ropeway). Our driver, Levon, was very friendly and did his best to accommodate our needs. Our original booking was make with departure time at 8:00 am. In order to be able to eat a solid breakfast in our hotel, we requested to change the departure time to 9:00am; this means that our return time to Yerevan would also be pushed backed by one hour. Levon happily agreed to our request and arrived in our hotel at 8:40am to wait for us. Along the roads, Levon, who had no duties of a tour guide, brought to our attention the major landmarks and important settlements. Levon is also a very considerate person: during the long drive, he regularly asked us if we needed stops for using toilets. Between Noravank and Tatev, we asked Levon casually if it was possible to make a brief stop at Zorats Karer – a prehistoric archaeological site, which was not included in the tour. He once again agreed with no hesitation. We were brought back to our hotel safely at 10:00pm. Despite being tired, we thoroughly enjoyed the tour and saw more than we expected. Hyur is a great tour agency, and Levon is an excellent driver. I highly recommend this tour to those tourists who spend three or more days in Armenia.

We had such a great day! Everything was very well organized, punctual, and fun.Our driver Arakel really made the day even better. He was such a kind and lovely gentleman and helped us with everything throughout the trip. He was always patient, friendly, and made sure we were comfortable. We also really enjoyed talking to him during the drives. He was so easy to talk to and made the whole trip feel very relaxed and enjoyable. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a nicer driver! The car was also super comfortable.We were considering skipping the 200 steps up to Sevanavank, but we’re so happy we decided to do it in the end! It was much easier than we expected and definitely worth it 😁 We’re also very happy that we took the cable car. The views were beautiful and we really enjoyed it.Overall, we had a wonderful day and would definitely recommend this trip. And if you get Arakel as your driver, you’re in very good hands! 😊

We really enjoyed our tour! It’s worth the price. Customer service is top notch especially our driver trying his best to explain everything. We just didn’t like our last stop which is the arch because there was an ongoing wedding photoshoot so we didn’t manage to take photos that much. But overall we really loved it! Thank you Hyur and to Sir Alexander our best driver ❤️

Took a cultural and food tasting tour of Yerevan. Meeting with guide at republic square was as planned, and easy. Our guide was waiting outside despite the sun. Prior to this trip, I had a very little knowledge of Armenia and its history. Guide was well informed and she went at great length to explain the unique history of this beautiful country and its complex relationship with some of its neighbors. From ancient history to Persian, ottoman and communist era, Armenians have finally found their independent identity now. Guide narrated the story well, and walked us through some old buildings and new monuments of city. The stop at a local restaurant for Armenian food tasting was wonderful experience. It was generally middle eastern style food, healthy, delicious and nutritious. Understanding the whole story, I realized that history has been somewhat unfair to Armenian people, due to perpetual colonization. Trip is highly recommended to understand Armenian story and its rich culture.

Excellent tour, beautiful locations, everything is on time and sufficient. This is my third time in Sevan and I still learned a lot of new and interesting things from our guide Samvel. The bus was comfortable, clean, with air conditioning and wifi, Karen is an excellent and careful driver. The fish at the tasting was also very tasty 🙏 Regarding wishes and suggestions specifically on organizational matters from Hyur company, I would note that it would certainly be more convenient to have a headset so that everyone can hear the guide. And also, so that the ticket has a note about what to bring on the excursion, for example, I didn't think before the excursion that I could swim in Sevan, so I would have brought a swimsuit, so I think a mini memo would not be unnecessary 🥺🌚
