A wonderful Þórsmörk adventure with Tomas
We had a wonderful Þórsmörk Super Jeep tour with Tomas. The entire experience was fascinating and thoroughly enjoyable, with spectacular scenery and beautiful stops along the way. Tomas was highly professional, knowledgeable and very warm and friendly. He shared interesting information throughout the tour and was also a genuinely engaging conversationalist. It was a memorable day and one of the highlights of our trip to Iceland. We would highly recommend both the tour and Tomas as a guide!

AMAZING- what a great tour. I wanted something that felt like we were able to see more of Island and this tour gave me that. First Midgard is great to work with. Everyone is beyond helpful and nice. We did two tours with them and both felt like they were customized just for us. Whatever your preference is they will accommodate. If you are looking for a private tour they will work with you. They absolutely love Iceland and all that it represents and will share that will you. Book with Midgard!

Our guide was a local and exceptional growing up in that area!!! We expected an open jeep and it was like a van that could cross streams. If you have any difficulty walking on uneven surfaces or going up and down paths, ask questions before you book. There are 4 hikes each about 45 minutes. Due to my age and surgery hasn’t been needed due to my activities, I only did 2 of 4 hikes.

Loved this amazing hike. My husband and I were fortunate to have the hike to ourselves. Chris was a great guide, extremely interesting and knowledgeable about the glaciers. He even pick blueberries for us - delicious. He was very attentive to our abilities and needs, tailoring the hike where necessary. The lunch we purchased from Midgard was delicious and plentiful - we had some of it for an after hike snack. Brownies were fabulous. From booking to check-in to the hike itself, everything was seamless, well organized and the people were all very friendly and helpful. I would absolutely recommend Midgard Adventure to lead a tour. I would even consider staying at their property in the future.

After gearing up with crampons and helmets, we stepped onto the ice and followed Boris across a landscape of deep blue crevasses, ash-streaked ridges, and frozen waves. Walking on a glacier feels otherworldly-every crunch underfoot a reminder that you're standing on something ancient and constantly moving.Boris was knowledgeable and engaging, sharing insights about the glacier's history and how volcanic ash shapes the ice. The quiet out there-just wind and dripping meltwater-made it even more powerful.Would 100% recommend!

We arranged a family glacier hike while we were staying in Iceland and it was without doubt one of the best things we have done as a family. From the moment we booked, Julien the founder at Lilja Tours, was exceptionally responsive and helpful to any questions that we had ahead of the trip. Wei was our guide on the day and that man truly loves what he does and was so knowledgeable about Iceland's outdoors. We were exceptionally fortunate to be paired with him. We are already planning to come back again and will be sure to contact Julien and Wei to head out on another adventure. Fully recommended

Siggi was an excellent tour guide who regaled us with stories about life in Iceland. We left our hotel in Reykjavik promptly and went directly to the KATLA ICE CAVES beating the tourist rush. The caves and glacier experience was singularly great and unforgettable. We then drove on the BLACK SAND BEACH to lunch at Smidjan in Vik. On the way back, we stopped at waterfalls and scenic spots. Highly recommend this company. Ask for Siggi!!!

First time on glacier!
We booked two tours with Icypeaks during our week in Selfoss and we are so glad we did! The glacier was so beautiful and it was great to go in small group rather than with 20 people. We could stop to take pictures anywhere we wanted and all our curious questions were answered. We also felt really safe even when it was our first time in shoe grips, the equipment was new! I loved how personal it all felt! Highly recommended!

We went to this unbelievable ice cave and Marcin was our tour guide! First off the tour was unbelievable but was difficult for seniors. Marcin helped my husband who is almost 80 maneuver through the cave. He allowed us to rest when necessary and never did we feel as if we were a burden. Never would have made it if it weren’t for him. Thank you for the unbelievable tour and your kindness.

We loved this tour! Carolina was so patient with our group which had a young child and seniors. She went at our pace and we felt perfectly safe. The glacier was gorgeous! Carolina pointed out the most tiny and subtle things that I never would have noticed without her. Book your tour fast because she said in two years this part of the glacier will be inaccessible.

What an increcibly positive experience! We had the Thórsmörk day hike, a combination of super-jeep tour and a few hikes. Our guide (Siggi) was superb: Highly competent geologist, who profoundly answered all our (many!) questions regarding volcanos, glaciers, rivers, icelandic history. Plus, he had great fun in driving his adventure-jeep through rivers.We did three hikes in total, one lonely waterfall with some quite technical passages, the beautiful Thorsmörk mountain peak and finally an impressive canyon - each of these wouldn't have been possible for us without a guide, each of these were wonderful and unique experiences.The tour (and especially Siggi!) is a five-star recommendation - and we will definitely book it!!
