Liddia is an absolute delight! She came to the class at short notice as another teacher was unable to attend. She’s a natural teacher who is patient, friendly and kind to her students.I genuinely recommend the pizza and gelato making class - best I’ve ever had and I made it myself! I will definitely do a Towns of Sicily course again as the level of professionalism is brilliant. Thank you for creating a wonderful holiday memory.

My wife was skeptical about seeing a 'puppet show' in Ortigia, but the backstage tour before the performance totally changed her mind. Our small group had the opportunity to operate a ten-pound puppet using metal rods (not strings) and was introduced to the puppets (all with different personalities) by a performer.The show was introduced in English, but performed in Italian, concerning the knights of Charlemagne battling the Moors. Lots of sword fights and dead bodies on stage, but artistry is amazing.

The absolute highlight of our week in Palermo! We booked the night tour with prosecco as a family of four and it was worth every cent.Seeing the city lit up from the CruiserCar is a completely different experience from walking around during the day. You cover so much more ground, the open car means you feel the city around you, and everything looks magical at night. We saw corners of Palermo we would never have found on our own.A huge thank you to our guide and our driver. You two absolutely made the evening. So warm, so welcoming, full of stories and knowledge about the city, and genuinely fun to be around. You could tell you love what you do, and that made all the difference.The prosecco was a lovely touch and the three hours flew by. If you are visiting Palermo, do this. Grazie mille for a truly unforgettable night!

Giovanni was absolutely amazing!! If i could give this 1000/10 I would. He was so kinda, informative, and helpful to my kids, who are 10 and 4. Then the ladies thag did the painting were great too and so kind. I recommend doing this, no matter who you go with!! It was awesome to learn about the pottery and then getting to make your own!

Absolutely loved our class. It was only 6 people, 4 from our family and two others. It was lovely to meet them and have some great chats! Our teacher, Lydia was exceptional. So friendly, so knowledgeable and so much fun! We absolutely loved this class and our pizza and gelato was exceptional, if I do say so myself!!! 🍕😋

We really enjoyed going behind the scenes of the puppet show! Paolo shared really interesting information about the puppets, being a puppet actor and the physicality needed to work the puppets. They were much heavier than I would have thought! I definitely had a different perspective watching the show afterward. I would definitely recommend this for all ages!

Stories from the past for curious little eyes!
Beautiful experience. Small but very cute theater. We were enchanted throughout the entire performance. Very talented actors and puppets just waiting to be discovered. Our son's curious little eyes wanted the show to never end. Afterward, he forced us to review Orlando Furioso because he wanted to hear the whole story again. The guys from the company also introduced the story in English. It was a nice way to start our vacation in Syracuse.
