Sicily Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

This was one of the highlights of our trip. The views they took us to, the water and food were all amazing. We had our 3 year old son and they were very attentive to us and him. They were exceptionally nice and caring about our experience and We couldn’t have asked for a better boat tour!

We had a perfect day! We have done a lot of boat days and this was one of our favorite tours. Lots of swim time and Barbara and the boat driver were incredibly nice!!!!! We loved the views of Cefalu and the water is incredible!

Our guide was friendly and very knowledgeable about the history of the mafia and the area. We had a really great lunch as part of the tour

Amazing day from being picked up to being dropped off the guide was so knowledgeable all about the volcano etna and arranged everything when we got to the top to organise various events that we could take part of I chose the hike but they’re also was trike biking And a steady walk?

This tour was so great. Francesco was amazing. Accommodated all of our needs, showed us all of the sites around old town the new town and the archaeological park. Definitely recommend this. It’s a great way to see all of the sights.

Lovely way to see all the main sites in Palermo,but wear a hat if you don’t want to put the canopy up because it does get warm

The tour was fun. Giuseppe was very knowledgeable. The weather changes very fast on Etna. Bring a jacket.

Nice way to learn how sea salt has been made in the Trapani area for centuries. Naomi was a great tour guide although her English is limited. There’s also anther experience where you can actually walk on the salt pan for an extra cost. The museum was very interesting because it has devices that were used on the salt making process in the past.

Tour guide told you about the Godfather movies .More importantly the History of the two Towns, And the lunch was Amazing.

We were lucky enough to visit the Valley of the Temples with Alessio, a simply extraordinary guide. His explanation was complete, passionate, and rich in historical, social, and cultural details about ancient Akragas and the evolution of the city over the centuries. Alessio conveys a deep love for Sicilian culture and language, with an authentic understanding of his ancestors' heritage. He was always close, empathetic, and helpful, making us perceive the wonder of the place through his own connection with every stone, every tree, and every corner of his land. The tour guide (i think his name was Pietro) was fantastic. So knowledgeable and easy going with it. The tour around the parts of Palermo he took us on were great especially Santa Rosalia up on Monte Pellegrino. You could tell he was so passionate about the facts he was sharing. He gave audio, while the wonderful driver Antonio, drove us to the spots, and we would stop for him to explain certain places further. They provided drinks and snacks, and both were so lovely. So so helpful. Would recommend highly!

Lots...lots...of walking. But well worth it if you can handle two-and-a-half hours on foot in intense summer-ish heat as we did. Stunning temples and fascinating history.

Seeing this valley and learning the history and nature was a highlight of our time here. Do it!!!

An experience that was not only beautiful, but also culturally interesting. YOU LEARN things about salt, about how salt is extracted from the sea, which is not something to be taken for granted, but is difficult and has historically involved many people.

Guisi was a great guide, very knowledgeable and really shared her culture with us. Each of the 4 stops we made was carefully chosen and gave us a chance to try authentic local cuisine. The portions were perfect and we had a truly enjoyable evening.
