Excellent experience. Gus was very accommodating and listened to us and we learnt a lot. While it was mildly disappointing that the hielan’ coos were away off in the distance the Hebridean sheep and other animals made up for it. The special treat at the lunch of awesome fresh seafood was excellent. Felt overall it was really worth it and could not give it less than a 5 star review. Thank you Gus!

Do not let Mark’s baby face fool you- his knowledge of Scotch is tremendous. We were impressed with his choices- small distilleries- each with a unique history. We enjoyed the Scotch- so much in fact that we are purchasing more of the Scotch for our later stay at Loch Lommond. We recommend him 100 times. So happy to have lucked up on this experience.

I arranged this for my partner's significant birthday as she loves being on the water. Neither of us have sailing experience but that didn't matter. What a fantastic day we enjoyed, Raymond and Laura went above and beyond to give us a day to remember, even providing an after lunch birthday cake. And what a lunch it was, a sharing seafood platter which we were able to eat above deck in the sunshine. The yacht itself, Chinwag, was a pleasure to be aboard, sleek and comfortable. We took full advantage of being able to steer her under both sail and power, absolutely wonderful for two novices. Raymond and Laura were the perfect, easy going, friendly hosts and gave us a day we will always remember.

Laura and Raymond made this a truly amazing day and created memories that will last a lifetime.Raymond is a very experienced skipper and Laura is a really good cook. The seafood lunch the supplied made us feel like royalty. Campbell was a fantastic guide. He explained the history of the area in a fun, relatable way and took us to see some really great sites in Oban. He also more generally was a warm, hospitable tour guide who we enjoyed so much that we asked him to drive us to Edinburgh for our flight the next day. Would highly recommend Campbell Cameron as a tour guide in Oban

If you are looking after a nice whisky tour then you should definitely go to Oban a lot of value for money You can't say that about every distillery but here you certainly can

Very good tour for the cost. The only complaint was the van we were in had musty smell and black mold on interior ceiling and walls. Very uncomfortable for my asthma. Guide was very good and the overall tour was well done.

We love Scotland, having been first attracted by the Coos, but then wonderful, genuine and friendly people. Laura and Raymond McIntosh brought that to the next level. Both are talented sailors and Laura a particularly talented chef. The day was a complete joy, sailing the waters around Oban and feasting like royalty. If they have an open date, book it!

Guide ‘Gus’ was great. Friendly, professional, full of stories and has lived in Oban for 25+ years, so knows his way around. Group of 8 in a small 8-person van, so be aware the seating is tight - and snag the two seats at the front, beside Gus if you can. Getting in & out can be a bit tricky. Good view of the countryside outside Oban but of course, weather plays a factor on the whole experience - we had rain. Fortunately, Gus our Guide/Driver had a great attitude and kept things moving along.

Great tour! Mark was a delight. I learned so much about tasting whisky! I highly recommend this to friends or couples. I love his back story and that his wife works with him.

Very knowledgable host with a great understanding of the scotch drink and the industry. Answered all questions in a relaxed manner & took all the time to make it a pleasant experience. We tasted scotchs that a good crosssection and were not the ones you typically see in advertisements. Much better than going to a distillery to taste. We all enjoyed it.

An incredibly fun experience. Great stories and great expertise, and, obviously great whisky. Just wonderful conversation—felt like fast friends and fast whisky aficionados after the tasting. Definitely do this if you’re in Oban.
