This experience will be one we talk about every time we reflect on our visit to Naxos. The family‑run farm understands hospitality in the most genuine way. You’re welcomed like a friend, then invited to be part of the cooking itself — gathering fresh ingredients from the garden, chopping vegetables, seasoning the dishes, and getting hands‑on with every step. I loved that. While the meal cooks, you’re taken on a beautiful walk and tour of the property, learning about the land, the family, and their traditions. And when it’s time to eat… did I mention the food is delicious? Every dish is full of flavor and made with care. I’ll definitely be making these recipes when I get home. A heartfelt, authentic experience — highly recommended.

It was a really fun day. We had a tour of the farm where we learned about the island, history of the area, how they live and farm. We collected vegetables for dinner, chopped everything up for cooking, while drinking wine and talking. Ended the day with a great dinner, Greek dancing, and plate breaking. Just a note that you need to arrange your own transportation, and depending on where you are staying, it can get expensive if you are far away. Personally, I would not recommend driving yourself as the farm is in the hills, and the last part of the drive is a bit challenging, down a very rustic road.

Katerina provided the most wonderful morning activity on our vacation. We started by baking a loaf of bread, then sampled different olive oils while learning the history of olive oil making! Finished up with a fantastic lunch. Katerina was the perfect host! She was so friendly, knowledgeable and has wonderful recommendations for your vacation! Would love to do this again next time we are here

This was one of our favorite experiences of our trip! Katerina is lovely and hosts a great class. The food she prepares is wonderful, the breadmaking is fun, and I learned a lot about olive oil that I didn't know before. Could not recommend this experience enough!!!

I cannot recommend this cooking class enough. Nikos and Stamos are the most delightful hosts, instructors and all around nice guys. The entire staff was so well orchestrated that the time flew as we easily cooked along with their instructions. Stamos has a way of making everyone feel special. The evening concluded with dancing and music and everyone seemed to have a great time. If you are in the mood to cook, make new friends, laugh and learn, I highly recommend this cooking class and farm tour. We made great tasting food!

We absolutely loved this experience. It took place in the most beautiful place with the kindest family. The food we cooked was incredible! And the whole tour was tons of fun. Don't miss out on this experience. You will not regret it and it will absolutely be a highlight of your trip to Greece!

I signed up for the class after my first meal on Naxos when I confirmed the food on the island is excellent. The location is in a quaint village with beautiful views. Ana was our instructor at her family tavern. The dishes we prepared were delicious and should be easy to execute at home. I’m looking forward to getting the recipes. Ana gave us a tour of the village and then we came back and ate the fruits of or labor in a beautiful outdoor setting.

We had a lot of fun and really appreciate Anna's ability to amend some of her recipes for our gluten free and non-red meat palates. The views around the village and the restaurant are stunning!

This is an outstanding experience. Nikos, our guide took us around the city of Naxos explaining the history, the daily life on Naxos and answering our many questions. We learned about the cheeses made on the Island and got to taste several kinds. The day ended at a traditional Taverna making 4 different dishes with the elderly owner Mimosa and her family. We then got to eat what we made and finished the tour tasting the traditional liquor of Naxos. This was honestly the best cooking class I have ever taken. Nikos went above and beyond our expectations and never rushed us to the point that our tour went two hours over schedule. This is a must do experience for Naxos!!

We give this experience a 20/10! Sophia was a delightful and entertaining guide and teacher. The setting was beautiful. We learned about the family history of the distillery and the cocktail class was so much fun with music and dancing. Leave room in your luggage…they have many beautiful options in the Citron boutique to purchase take away. The location is approx 1 mile from town with no convenient bus stop. Will require taxi (we paid €20 each way from Naxos town). If you have time in Naxos we would highly recommend this experience!

If you're looking for a memorable experience in Naxos, put this tour on your list.Sure, there may be other great tours on the island, but this one would be very hard to beat.We were given a wonderful behind-the-scenes look at this historic citron distillery, including the grounds, production areas, and the distillery itself. We even had the chance to get involved and try our hand at pressing citron the traditional way.Then came the highlight: a guided tasting of several citron varieties, liqueurs, and cocktails, all thoughtfully paired with an outstanding selection of local cheeses and charcuterie. And they certainly don't skimp on the portions. Everything was enjoyed on a shaded outdoor patio, with a gentle breeze, beautiful surroundings, and the aromas of the distillery in the air.As fantastic as the tour and tasting were, the true star of the experience was our hostess, Margariti Sofia. She manages the operation and represents the next generation of the family behind the distillery. Warm, witty, knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely passionate about what she does, she brings the entire experience to life. In an age where many tours can feel scripted, Sofia is refreshingly authentic, approachable, and full of energy.By the end of the visit, it felt less like a tour and more like being welcomed into someone's home and family tradition. I felt like I gained a sister, or maybe a daughter!I couldn't recommend this experience more highly. And while you're in Naxos, don't forget to stop by their shop in town as well.

Katerina is fabulous. The bread making and olive oil tasting is a fun experience. I learned a lot. The meal and snacks were also very tasty. The meal ingredients were all family farm sourced and wonderful quality. So glad Katerina is sharing her grandmother’s recipes and wisdom.
