Really good tour! Maria our guide made the experience very enjoyable - she was fun and informative. Would recommend for halloumi fans and those wanting to experience a day outside of a city.

Went on the Halloumi Heaven (Larnaca Region) tour with this company. From the early stages of booking, I felt completely at ease in communicating with them via WhatsApp. They were very attentive, courteous and accommodating when we needed to change the pick-up location and adding another member. On the morning of the tour, the lovely Helena picked us up and was our guide for the day. She was really nice, kind and informative all throughout the day and we were very comfortable with her. Loula and her family, which were our first stop, were really gracious hosts even without speaking English and we had incredible time learning how to make Halloumi with them. After spending some time with them and their flock of sheep and goats we headed to several other places like a beekeeping site, a donkey farm, and a small village. We also enjoyed tasting olives and olive oils. All in all, it was a great experience for all of us (even for the six year old girl in our group) and will highly recommend it!

An excellent well organised trip that was not only great fun but also informative. Punctual pick ups, very safe drivers and our guide Theodora was a local and experienced in providing everything we needed for the trip. We had a great time making the halloumi, a delicious brunch with coffee and lemonade and cold bottled water was available during the trip. We enjoyed tasting local honey, olive oils and donkey milk products! Spectacular views of the mountains and the day finished with feeding donkeys at the donkey farm. Thanks to Theodora and our other driver for a memorable day- well done worth booking!

We had an absolutely amazing day with Cyprus Taste Tours. Our guide, Maria, was great – incredibly knowledgeable about both Cypriot food and the country's landscape, while also being super friendly and easy to chat to throughout the day.As it was just me and my partner on the tour, it felt really personal, almost like having our own private tour. The halloumi-making experience with Loula was a real highlight. She allows you to get involved in the process (we were arms deep in halloumi) and treated us to a generous lunch filled with delicious traditional Cypriot dishes.The rest of the day was spent exploring beautiful villages and meeting some fun characters along the way. It was such a memorable experience and a wonderful way to discover the authentic side of Cyprus. I couldn't recommend this tour highly enough.

It was a truly pleasant experience — probably the best tour I’ve taken in the past few years. Considering what you pay and what you get, it’s not expensive at all. We visited five perfectly chosen places, plus had lunch, and the time spent at each stop was very well planned — not too long, but just enough to explore and enjoy each location.The tour had a friendly, almost private atmosphere. There were only five tourists, including me. By the end of the day, I didn’t feel like a solo traveler in a group of strangers — it felt more like a trip with friends. None of the places we visited were crowded; on the contrary, it felt like a kind of VIP experience without lines or pressure.My sincere thanks and best regards to our guide, Panico. His deep knowledge of all aspects of Cyprus, along with his intelligence and dedication to his work, made this day perfect and unforgettable. I’m already looking forward to my next holiday in Cyprus so I can take another tour with this company.

After last year's wine tasting (very good), this year it was Haloumi's turn. Was interesting on the whole, but we didn't like it that much. What was a bit confusing was the "lunch" presented as brunch. I still expected something different than a bunch of things, sorry. The organic olive farm should present itself a little "cleaner" rather than pretending to be rustic. I didn't like it that much, but we still took some tapenades. The honey farm was very interesting and the presentation was characterized by high expertise. Honey was also in the shopping basket. The donkey farm ... is a donkey farm 🤷🏻 The products with donkey milk seem good, but you also present some by the way. Is right 🥴

I had a fabulous day experiencing aspects of Cypriot food, life and culture that I'd not had an opportunity to explore fully before. As someone with Cypriot heritage - weaned on halloumi from an early age - it was a real eye-opener, getting involved, from start to finish, in the production of island’s famous cheese. And then tasting the delicious fruits of our labour! Another highlight was visiting Lefkara, a picturesque village, and learning about their world renowned lacemaking techniques. We were taken to the historic village church, with breathtaking views, as well as the museum, where a curator shared her knowledge of lacemaking techniques past down from generation to generation. I thoroughly recommend this tour to those wanting to know the real Cyprus. Thank you to Panicos, our warm and friendly tour guide, for his local knowledge and insights.

A fantastic day , the cheese making was so much fun. Hi lights were also visiting the animals on the farm and feeding the babies and then having lunch, it was great being able to eat the cheeses we had helped to make. Later getting an insight into the olive oil production and honey collecting was also very interesting. And finally visiting the donkeys was a great end to a fully packed day. Demi our tour guide was amazing and made sure everyone had a great day. I enjoyed our walk around Lefkara and popping into many of the special shops in the village.

It was the best trip I had when I was in Cyprus! Wonderful arrangement, really thoughtful details, and the activities were unique and fun. I recommended to my friends.

I had met Loula on another tour and took a real liking to her. When I heard that the Halloumi making experience was with her, I booked straightaway. I enjoyed being involved in the whole process. The meze Loula provided was delicious, especially her orange cake. The other activities were also very interesting and enjoyable. Unfortunately, our free time in Lefkara was spoilt by torrential rain. Our driver, Demi, provided everyone with umbrellas and drove us as close as possible to venues. Demi is very knowledgeable and respectful and funny.

it was amazing! I loved being involved in the halloumi making process and it was honestly to fun to see how it was being made (after being in love with eating it all this time). our host was so lovely and even though she couldn't speak much English she would do her best for us and she was so kind.we also got to visit a bunch of other places like the donkey farm, bee farm and some olive oil places. we also visited Lefkara village (which I really wanted to go to so what a plus!)overall I really loved it and had no regrets! would 100% recommend

Too notch tour, it’s up there at the top of my list. We booked the halloumi cheese making course and would have been happy at that. I did not expect to enjoy all the other parts and the day it seemed to fly by. We were picked up bang on time from our hotel by Mamos. Very cheerful, helpful and what a good fella. at the pick up point, we were met by the lovely Demi . Her knowledge was amazing. She seemed to know all the hosts as we went along. As a guide and driver 10/10. The halloumi making was excellent and well worth it, we also got a walk around the farm to meet all the animals, it was my favorite part of the tour. Our tour included introduction to bees by a very knowledgeable young lady who explained the life and duties of bees, specifically how the females run the show. No change there then. Notable , at no point were you prompted to buy any items at all. we had a great lunch and samples of allsorts of local food and drinks as we went along. Very enjoyable and good value all round. I would really recommend, there is something for everyone to enjoy on here. Highly recommended.

We booked this tour predominantly for the cheesemaking but as it turned out, it offered so much more. It supports small local businesses who really genuinely care for their animals and crafts. Guides and drivers are passionate and local, live and breathe in the areas we visited. This is so important to me. Small group of 6 and we rubbed together fine from the inclusive introductions by Mammas and Demi. Picked up at our hotel front promptly. The cheesemaking exceeded all expectations and was so interesting and fun. We were lucky enough to meet the ladies who provided our lovely Milk for the goats cheese and their kids, as well as the rest of the other farm animals. The Farm is labour of love for the passionate and lovely owners and you can tell. They live simply, it’s a lifestyle. I learned a lot and we ate beautifully. I said they should offer guests the option to pay extra for ‘goat walking’ around the farm. I recently arranged this for my adult daughter after a 6 month waiting list in UK. She loved it. The rest of the afternoon included a potter around a beautiful local village, lace making, honey bees and fabulous donkeys and their adorable foals. Our guide and fabulous chauffeur was the lovely Demi, personable, witty, knowledgeable, so dedicated and passionate about every where we went. She knew everyone we visited on a personal level, even the names of the cats who came to greet her. Extraordinary. We had the lovely Mamas the initial part of the journey he went out of his way to provide us with three menus, when we asked about where to eat the best Mezze. Excellent craic and over 40 years experience in customer service and you can tell. In summary one of the most enjoyable and satisfying trips I have ever been on. I am well travelled, all over the world. This knocked socks off any other tour.
