Top Cancun Dance Lessons

We had a wonderful experience with the staff on the boat. The only issue was that the dock staff tried to charge us more for our son because they said that “adults” were 9 or older but Cool Destinations said 12. Once we were on the boat it was a great trip.

Was a really fun an upbeat boat trip. The snorkeling is very tough, you’ve got to cover a distance with a decent current and no fins. If I did it again, I’d find a way to bring fins. Food was great. Drinks were great. We got 3 hours on the island. If you’re just shopping, I wouldn’t rent a cart. If you want to see the whole island, it will be around $130 for a golf cart for 3 hours.

It was a very good experience, the classes were very detailed. We learned a lot, then we went to a social at the same Academy to continue practicing what we learned. I highly recommend them.

We didn’t know how to dance at all!!! This class was so much fun! We learned basic salsa dance steps. In one hour we learned how to dance!

Due to lack of internet service after we left our vacation location me and my daughter(Maya) ended up at the wrong location in Puerto Morelos and missed our Salsa Dance Class :( However, after finally being able to contact the instructor and seeing if we could possibly get a credit for the class for next year, they graciously accommodated us with NO problem. Hence the 5 circle review for primo customer service, thus making this trip another successful one!

Cancun Salsa Lovers made us salsa lovers!!! Hahaha these guys were so much fun, we were not just entertained but also learned something new, definitely time well spent on our honeymoon! Highly recommended!!!

We had the MOST AMAZING experience with Steve's Salsa Studio during our time in Playa Del Carmen! The studio was SO responsive, accommodating and professional! And our instructor, Ivonne!!!! OMG, we cannot say enough about her amazing spirit and her skillful dance! She was such a gracious instructor! So patient. So masterful. So kind. We're ready for the salsa club now!!! DEFINITELY coming back every time we're in Playa!

With 2.5 months of salsa under my belt, I’ve had the opportunity to travel to Cancun on a family vacation. This was the opportunity to dance with people outside of the normal socials back at home. I made sure I sought out for a private salsa instructor to learn more from. Esteban from Steve Baila Dance Academy is wonderful and a professional who is very knowledgeable in the business. He went over my basics and touched up on the technicalities and gave me tips to improve in my dancing. Gave me some tips in lady styling and definitely showed more moves that I have not done before.50% of socials not only dance salsa but bachata as well. This also gave me the opportunity to learn Bachata from Esteban. He will listen to exactly what you are wanting to learn and go from there. As for me, the beauty in Bachata was the sensual as you will see lots on the dance floor and may be uncomfortable. I made it a point to learn this art and Esteban was a professional at this. Focusing and learning how to connect. This was my first time trying sensual bachata and definitely won’t be my last. I look forward to utilizing all the knowledge i gained from Steve Baila Dance Academy out in the social world!The team at Steve Baila Dance Academy was very prompt when it came to communication and very accommodating to my unexpected scheduling. Thank you Esteban and Marianne!I would recommend for those to take as many classes as you can with this team! I had the opportunity to take 10 lessons and would have done more if my stay was longer!! My girlfriend and I took one salsa class with steve in Cancun, and it was fantastic! In one hour we were able to get some fun moves down and learn the basics of salsa. Steve and his teaching partner Marian were excellent teachers, very kind and energetic. The whole experience was super fun and they were also able to come pick us up from our hotel and drive us back.

I was very happy to find their class offer, it went really well and I had a great learning from them. The best thing is they are a pair so each of them can teach you from the point of both leading and following. I was lucky to be offered a pick up as they were coming from the south and my hotel was on their way to the park which the class was arranged to give. I appreciated also for being able to communicate with them even before the class through WhatsApp. They are very friendly and I recommend you to ask any questions you have, they will answer all and give you helpful tips.
