We had a wonderful time and our driver Samara was excellent. We booked only car and driver. Samara picked us up and he was wonderful. Since we were going to see the pyramids, we didn't feel the need for a guide. Samara took us to all the places Bent, Red, Step pyramids etc. He even gave us chocolates. We had a wonderful visit to Memphis, Saqqara & Dashur on Aug 31, 2026.Something memorable...as we were heading back to Giza, Samara suddenly stopped the car on the highway and asked to take a picture....we were worried however he said it was normal and not to worry.He took a picture of us, it was classic...thanks Samara. He even gave us egyptian change with Tutankhamun on it. We definitely cherished the coins. Thanks Samara & Emo Tours for a memorable visit.

Along with visiting the Grand Egyptian Museum and pyramids, we were interested in a beach experience during this trip to the land of the Pharaohs. With my research showing the Mediterranean coast too expensive and exclusive, the Red Sea seemed a viable and affordable option during our five-day visit to Egypt. And for the most part, it was. Sun, sand, a steady sea breeze cooling us off, thatch beach umbrellas - all quite beach-like.On arrival, we were ushered into a changing room in the home of the owner of the company that brought us there. Then it was out to the beach for 2 hours, at which time lunch would be served. Another hour and a half later, it was time to leave for Cairo - about 1.5 hours away (or less, if the driver puts the pedal to the metal as ours did on the drive there - at times fast enough to be a bit unnerving - on the return, I requested a bit more relaxed pace).However, there really wasn't a "beach" as someone from the mid-Atlantic region of the USA thinks of it - there was sand, but near the water were beds of smooth rocks, with large tubes of concrete running perpendicular to the shore, offering a walkway out into the sea. And no real waves - just 6-12 inch swells.Our driver and guide were affable and happy to answer any questions we had about life in Egypt.Suggestions: 1) give a quick raking of the umbrella area between guests to clear away the cigarette butts and other debris - maybe provide a trash bag at each umbrella 2) we were transported in a car with driver and guide - re climate change, what about transporting several people/couples at a time in a small van to save energy/pollution? 3) the lunch was acceptable - take-out grilled chicken and yellow rice. I had mentioned that we were primarily vegetarian (I should have been more direct) - but if it's a take-out meal anyway, why not provide a couple of options on arrival (within a price range) and let people make a choice? 4) maybe prime the guide to offer comments on various things passed on the way - the military barracks, where did the Red Sea get its name, issues related to the flow of the Nile, unsuccessful revolution of 2011, etc.All in all, we wanted a beach and got a beach - thanks!

Great driver, very nice and accommodating. Although he did not speak English he was using his fone as translator and that was just fine.

We had an unforgettable experience, the tour was amazing and I’m glad.Our tour guide mustapha was awesome, guided us through out the whole tour with experience, knowledge, insight and history. He’s such a great guy, kind, patient and easy going.And Ahmed the driver, was kind, professional, polite and cool. He drove us all day carefully and made sure we’re comfortable and got to our destination safely, from pick up to drop off.We did everything on the list and even more, Mustapha recommended Carmel ride, we went for it and it was awesome.I highly recommend booking a tour with them, if you’re planning to visit Egypt. You get up close and personal to the pyramids. You get a great history lesson at the museum. Food was amazing and bargains at the bazaar were great too. Hassan was an excellent tour guide. He gives you just enough about each site and gives you time to explore yourselves. Our tour was a private one so our driver always had the car available, nice and cool.

A very beautiful tour; we also visited the school where they teach how to make carpets, which was very interesting and truly impressive. The Pyramids are beautiful, and the site is well-maintained. Our guide, Mustafa, was very kind and explained many things to us.

We had a wonderful day at the Pyramids of Gizeh and at the New Grand Egyptian Museum with our guide Mahmood Alwan. He provided us with lot of interesting Information about old Egyptian culture and Mahmood showed us around in the Museum, so that we saw the most spectacular items. At the beginning of our tour he helped us to a wonderful cup of coffee with lovely spices! Mahmood cared for us the whole day, so we felt safe and relaxed on our first time in Cairo! Always kind, discreet and reliable, he transmitted me serenity and confidence throughout my stay. However, I would also like to highlight Foad, whom I had the pleasure of meeting in the previous days: in addition to being an attentive and very cautious driver, he is a humble, helpful and deeply kind person. You can feel it when someone works from the heart, and he has a big heart. Always smiling, nice and ready to help, he helped make the experience even more serene and human. I would also like to dedicate a special thought to the School of Handwoven Carpets: just outside the archaeological site of Saqqara is this wonderful place where boys and girls learn to create entirely handmade carpets, followed by expert teachers. I was able to see their work up close: precision, patience, tradition and a lot of humility. The carpets are beautiful and represent not only a craft product, but an important social project. If you can, I suggest you visit and support them as I did: they really deserve attention and respect. I travelled alone and always felt followed, respected and safe. Clear communication, precise organization and constant assistance made the whole experience relaxing, interesting and unforgettable. Everything's good except the driver, he's dealing with shops that take our attention from the drivers.

The little boy who was my driver was very skilled. He can drive sitting in front with his hand behind holding the atv wheel and also from behind. The boy knew how to take nice photod

We did family trip to Egypt in Dec 2024 and we are really happy that we chose Emo Tours as our tour guides.
