Despite ending up with a rainy trip, we had a fantastic time! The guides were knowledgeable and entertaining. We never felt unsafe and enjoyed the scenery and wildlife.

We had the best time with Grace! She was a big part of why the experience was so great! 10/10 recommend!

My wife and I had a great time. Snack was our guide and he was very thorough on instructions on how to paddle and other maneuvers for special situations. He also told great stories which made it even more fun.Although the river was lower than normal, we still had a few challenging place going places to get through. Eric was a great guide and made it fun for all. He’ll be a great dad someday with all of his dad jokes. Wilderness Aware Rafting went above and beyond compared to other companies on the river by doing other special activities with the group while on the river.

First of all, the river was very low due to the drought Colorado is experiencing. Although we signed up for Browns Canyon, we were on a different section of the river. Our guide was Charlotte and we enjoyed her expertise and commentary along the route. We were able to experience a few mild rapids and also several instances of getting stuck on the rocks due to low water. The kids really enjoyed the experience of jumping off the rocks into the river! Not sure when we will be back to Colorado, so am glad we had the fun rafting experience, even if Mother Nature made it a little calmer than usual.

We had an amazing time rafting with Monumental Expeditions! Even though the water levels were lower than usual, our guide made the trip exciting, fun, and full of laughs from start to finish. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and we always felt safe and well taken care of. The entire staff was friendly, professional, and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. We highly recommend Monumental Expeditions to anyone looking for a memorable Colorado rafting adventure—we would definitely raft with them again!

Wilderness Aware is the best in BV. From the front counter staff to the van driver Turbo. They are all friendly and knowledgeable. Liz and Evan were our guides they were great on the water and jokes for the ride home. 1000% recommend this rafting experience over all the rest.

Full day rafting trip on the 4th of a July was incredible. Grace was very knowledgeable about the canyon, water, and rocks. Our boat was a powerhouse with Grace as our leader! Macy, Craig, and Mikey also had great energy and made the entire day so much fun! Lunch was fresh and delicious. I look forward to coming back again soon.

We had a blast! Keen and Carol were our guides on our two rafts and they were both amazing. We will definitely do this again!! The river was pretty low when we went, so we all want to go back when it's higher. Super calm, chill experience for us, with a few fun rapids and a rock jump along the way. Beautiful scenery the entire way. We hope to do the full day next time. This is a must do!! Thanks so much for a fun day!

A great day floating. The flu rate was slow, but the fun was high. Our guides (Lula and Ashley) were professional and very friendly. We enjoyed the day very much.

Great rafting trip despite the low water conditions! Our guide Craig was the best, very calm through the obstacles, and knowledgeable and always had a positive energy. He was such a good host too, even shared water with us and rafted over to Grace’s raft to steal us some ginger snaps 😀😆 we hope to return one day when the water levels rise.

Grace was such a great guide! She was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and the surrounding nature and was just an all around good time. Lunch was also a major highlight. Will definitely be back!

We booked the Lower Brown Canyon run through Wilderness Aware Rafting for our family of six (kids ages 14, 10, 7, and 6), and it was an amazing experience! The online booking process was super easy, and I also called ahead with questions about the different runs. The staff was very helpful in helping us decide which trip would be the best fit.Since none of us had ever been whitewater rafting before, I was worried the Milk Run might be a little too tame for our older kids, so we chose Lower Brown Canyon. It ended up being the perfect choice. The two youngest were able to help paddle during calmer sections and stay seated when needed.Be prepared—it’s definitely an arm workout! With the lower water levels, we got stuck on rocks a few times, which honestly just added to the adventure. Our guide, Kira, was absolutely fantastic. She was knowledgeable, confident, and an excellent communicator, giving clear instructions while keeping things fun. We felt completely safe with her the entire trip, and she was incredibly sweet and personable.The scenery was breathtaking, and the whole experience created memories our family will never forget. I was also really impressed with Wilderness Aware’s commitment to safety. We saw other groups on the river without helmets, and after seeing the number of rocks we encountered in the lower water conditions, I was very grateful our group was properly equipped. Helmets are definitely a smart idea if anyone ends up in the water.Highly recommend Wilderness Aware Rafting and especially Kira!

We booked a last minute rafting trip with Adam on Sunday and we had a great time. From pre-trip communications to equipments (wet suits, splash jackets and helmets), Adam’s service is first rate. He is so experienced that we feel very safe with him at same time, we had fun. We would highly recommend Adam for rafting in Colorado as we feel we got excellent personalized service.

We booked a last minute half day rafting tour with Adam. Adam was proactive in communications before our trip. Because September is low season, it ended up with only 2 of us. Adam provided very clean wetsuits, splash jackets and safety helmets to us. He explained why picked the stretch of river (due to low water at other sites), and he was very thorough in safety explanations. We felt confident that he would make sure we were safe and in the meantime had fun. He definitely knows what he is doing and we highly recommend his company for rafting in Colorado. Thank you, Adam.
