My friends and I had the best time with Putu!! The market tour and cooking class were probably one of our favorite Bali experiences. We are so grateful to Putu for opening her home to us. She introduced us to Balinese food and recipes, and also gave us a glimpse into family, personal lives, and religious and cultural traditions. I would absolutely recommend this experience to everyone. If I come back to Bali, I would definitely enjoy another visit with her!

We had a great day. Recommend this tour for families. Had a mini dance party on route to the reef which was a lot of laughs and distracted us from sea sickness. The pontoon activities were lots of fun also before heading to the island for lunch. Only downside one of us got ill with the lunch provided - probably the chicken …. But all in all fun

We really enjoyed this trip! The pontoon made everything very accessible and we had an excellent time. We loved the small tour of Lembongan and the tour length was just about right. We were even able to extend our stay and go to the beach club for an extra hour. This is offered on a first come first basis but was an excellent free addition to our trip. I had debated between the beach club and the pontoon, but I was glad we could do both! Bali Hai cruises was a wonderful experience.There were a few negatives to be aware of, but does not really reflect the company.The water while riding on the Caterman was rather choppy and lots of people got sick on the way out - so be warned if you get sea sick easily The visibility was not excellent for snorkeling and the underwater submarine. We saw a few fish but nothing too significant and the water was a bit murky. We wanted to do the sea walkers but ran out of time. There were so many other things to do that was already included! Lunch was okay. We ate towards the end of the alloted time so many things had run out or been sitting out for a long time. It might be best to eat earlier than later although we did want to avoid the crowd.

Putu, Pashka and Made hosted my wife and I to a great cooking class. To be welcomed into the family compound was an honour. Putu described the compound layout and architecture aswell as diving deep into the gods which Putu offers everyday. We prepared six meals which all tasted fantastic because of the depth that Putu taught in traditional techniques. I seldom review anything on the internet. I genuinely recommend this Balinese cooking class.

We didn't get a message at our hotel about the pick-up for the trip in the morning. I'd expected a note under our door when we got back from dinner. It was out of hours in Bali so I Skype called Cool Destinations in in the US. They emailed to service provider, who called our hotel early in the morning and sent a driver to pick us up. problem solved. From there everything else about this tour was fantastic. The Bali Hai staff are professional, friendly and they really work on making your experience the best it can be. When we boarded there was delicious pastries and coffee or tea awaiting us in the dining room. We went out onto the sun deck for the trip to the Lembongan Island trip. We were there in around 45 minutes and docked to a large pontoon complete with water-slide on it. There are: ul li change rooms lilockers litowels for hire liBanana sled rides behind a smaller boat li safe swimming areas and snorkelling equipment to use /ul I saw all the masks, wetsuits and snorkels being soaked in cleaning solution for reuse, I suspect it would something like baby bottle sterilising solution. The ticket includes pretty much all activities except scuba diving lessons and the Aquanaut reef walk. Lunch was a buffet style with a selection of delicious salads and smoked fish or choices of different curries and rice. I did the Aquanaut reef walk. I'm over sixty, but up for new adventures. It's one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had. I cannot do snorkelling or Scuba diving, I have trouble with the mouthpieces, so this was perfect for me. There are so many fish there and they swim right up to you, there's a beautiful coral garden down there. They have a professional photographer who captures all the fun so you can just relax and enjoy the whole experience.

Market in Ubud opposite the King's residence. Market characterized by the usual asking high prices and then maybe offering you the same goods at the very low price. A huge amount of clothing sponsoring Ubud and Bali.... good sandals and comfortable shoes for walking...In the countless tents are almost all women who sell with kind and attractive ways.

Had an amazing experience with Putu and her family! Putu is very warm and hospitable. She also taught us to make amazing Balinese food. It felt like hanging out with family. Her garden is absolutely lovely. Would highly recommend to anyone who is visiting Bali.

Everyone gives Putu a 5 out of 5. But she should get a ten. We learned a lot about Hindu, Indonesian culture and lots about food too. I have taken food tours all over the world. The only other one that comes close is Chaing Mai’s farm cooking school. Get ready to be thrilled by a genuine classy lady.

We had an amazing time with Putu at the market and then back to her Village and home. Thank you so much for the informative class Putu. The kids and ourselves truly appreciate all the hard work you and your family have put into providing such a special cultural experience, one we will never forget. The food was delicious! Having a tour through your farm was also a highlight with our son being able to harvest his favourite, a mangosteen.

From pick up to drop off, this experience was filled with warmth, charm, culture, great food, hospitality and generosity. Putu's house was amazing and wonderful to taste real Balinese life. It is a cooking lesson, but so much more! The market tour, the walk around her wonderful garden and home as well as the knowledge she shared will be remembered long after we return home. This was the best thing we did while in Bali. We would highly recommend doing the market tour and cooking class together as gives you a wonderful insight to local culture. We also got to enjoy a delish market breakfast! The home and garden tour was incredible as we learnt more about village life and how they nurture the land and grow their own food! Having a private class was great as it gave us the opportunity to learn every step of the cooking process and ask many questions. And ofcourse the food was incredible. Thank you so much to Putu and her family for sharing their home and culture with us.

Putu has been both a wonderful host and friend. She was warm and friendly. At the market, she gave a very good rundown of the ingredients and the culture behind the food. At her food, she was gracious in the sharing and was very generous with guiding through the culinary steps.Our 5yo boy absolutely loved the experience, chasing chickens, ducks and dogs at her backyard.The food was amazing, and our having cooked it made all the more sumptuous! Highly recommended.

On our last day in Ubud, we had the joy of booking this experience and it truly became the highlight of our time in Bali. Putu and family welcomed us with warmth and kindness, opening their home to us.She guided us through the process with such patience, especially with our teens, making the entire experience feel both fun and meaningful. Every dish was prepared with the freshest ingredients, and the flavors were simply delicious.This wasn’t just a cooking class; it was a glimpse into Balinese culture, hospitality, and heart. We left not only with full stomachs, but with full hearts, and memories we will treasure forever.If you’ve never tried something like this, I can’t recommend it enough. We can’t wait to recreate these dishes back home and be reminded of this special day. Thank you again, Putu, for opening your home and sharing your world with us.
