Fabulous experience. The caves were awesome, amazing explanation on how they were formed and that they're always changing. The glow worms were amazing to see. The only disappointment was that the photo that was taken at the start was obviously photoshot and a green screen. It didn't ruin the experience- we just didn't buy a photo.

This glowworm tour was great! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the experience fun. The glowworms were amazing to see in person. This tour is a must see for anyone visiting New Zealand!

This experience was better than we expected. Not only do you get great, non-rushed cave time, the glow worms are beyond interesting and beautiful. You also go through a second cave system (without glow worms) that is really cool as well. The guide at the cave was knowledgeable and passionate about the caves and their history. Our guide that drove us from Auckland to the caves (Jaime) was kind, funny and helpful, giving great commentary about the areas we were traveling through. He even had helpful recommendations on what to do and where to eat for the rest of our stay in Auckland. Highly recommend this tour - the drive to and from the caves was just as stunning as the caves themselves. The small tour group sizes are also appreciated. Don't hesitate - book it! (But also bring a warm jacket....the caves are chilly!)

Small group, Wi was a fantastic guide friendly, funny and informative, the caves have some stunning decorations they are well worth a visit, How they managed to put all that infrastructure (lighting, paths, railing) in there without doing any damage is amazing.

Blue Springs are a must see! The glow worm cave was super cool! The kiwi house was a little less impressive.

Ash was a fantastic guide. We had a sensational time caving under his guidance. We felt safe throughout the entire experience. Thanks Ash for your enthusiasm, entertainment and professionalism. We were given loads of interesting and relevant information about the cave and the Glowworms, and constantly monitored by Ash as we transversed the more difficult parts of the cave. Floating through the dark caves with the glowworms lighting up the ceiling above us felt like being under a sky full of stars. It was exciting, a little adventurous, and something we had never experienced before. Our guides were friendly, professional, and made the whole experience fun and comfortable. Definitely a must-do when visiting New Zealand!

Pickup and driver Syeve wete just lovely. Froendly and knowledgable. Really funny too. Spellbound Fin was the best. I wasn't feeling great so Fin still took the tour but was looking out for me. That level of service by all is just outstounding. Thankyou for an amazing day.

Honestly, we did bungy jumping, skydiving, and this adventure. Of the three, this might be the most memorable.

Jaime made the trip so enjoyable, and the sights were breathtaking—especially the Blue Springs. Everything was perfectly organized. Thanks, Jaime, for an incredible day!

This was a very well-organized tour of the Ruakiri Cave. We saw beautiful cave formations as well as so many glowworms. Our tour guide was extremely friendly and it was amazing how much information she could share with us about the cave. Highly recommend!

Our guide was Ash and he was amazing. His knowledge was incredible and the tour itself was amazing. It was a really fun experience and something a bit different. I’ve never seen anything like it and overall from start to finish it was great :)

An absolute must! This was a full experience where we not only got to see LOADS of glow worms but we got a bit of adventure too.Jamie was an incredible guide. Knowledgable, patient and super professional, she made us feel safe and confident every step of the way.Spoiler (if you need one): You get to swim in (cold) water and float under a milky way of glow worms, you get to climb through the cave, you get to choose rather challenging and difficult paths if you feel confident enough and jump off to the water with floaties that you then use to float down the cave.The hot pool at the end makes this a perfect ending to an incredible experience. The caves are really well taken advantage of in a very sustainable way ❤️.

Myself and my partner thoroughly enjoyed this epic adventure and were guided by Jamie. She was a fantastic guide, extremely knowledgable, utterly professional and we had a great laugh. The cave itself was magical and will be something we will always remember.

This was a fun and unique experience. Getting all dressed up in their clothes and galoshes and then wading into the tunnels at night was such a treat. Ash was a great guide. He put up with our American humor and helped us navigate through the caves on his families land! I would totally recommend this tour over any where you sit in a boat for 20 minutes. We spent 3+ hours in god's magnificent wonderland, full of glow worms and other critters!
