The dancers obviously enjoyed what they were doing and had practiced a lot to perfect the moves. The only thing I would change is having the audiences politely asked to remove hats that interfered with the people behind them having an equal view.

Right on time! Both our naturalist and boat driver were great and informative, which made for a wonderful experience. We saw a momma bear and her two cubs who wrestled with each other. Saw a few whales and great tails. Also, sea lions. They had treats and water for us, too.

A Most Excellwnt adventure
The boat was enclosed and had comfortable seats. We had the option to watch from the front and back of the boat when stopped. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable about various animals and information about them as well as the surrounding area. The captain took us to areas where we saw humpback whales, a mama bear and her three cubs as well as sea lions. This was an excellent adventure, we recommend it highly!

Unforgettable Wildlife Tour with Capt Brad – A Must in Sitka!
We booked a small group boat tour with Captain Brad of Sitka Nautical Tours, and it exceeded every expectation. With only 6 people on board, it felt like a private tour — Brad took his time with us, pointed out things we would've completely missed on our own, and made sure everyone had a great view whenever we spotted wildlife.And the wildlife was incredible — bears, sea lions, otters, and whale after whale. Honestly, we lost count of how many whales we saw! Combine that with the jaw-dropping scenery around the island, and it was just a magical few hours out on the water.What really made the tour though was Brad himself. His knowledge of the local wildlife and waters is next level, and you can tell he genuinely loves what he does. It didn't feel like a typical tourist boat tour — more like getting a personal, expert-guided tour of Sitka's coastline.If you're visiting Sitka and want an authentic, small-group experience with amazing wildlife sightings, book with Brad and Sitka Nautical Tours. We can't recommend it enough!

Absolutely, hands down the best tour I’ve taken in Alaska over multiple trips. Captain Gary knew all the best places to see wildlife and made sure we were perfectly positioned in the water to see it all - and from super close. Sophia had so much information to share and she spoke with so much affection for her hometown - her appreciation and passion for this amazingly unique place on the planet shone through. We’ve taken tours all over the world and this one was one of the very best. If you’re in Sitka, you’ll not regret spending a few hours taking this tour.

A great tour. Saw 3 families of grizzly bears, humpback whales, sea lions, see otters, and ended with a rainbow as we wear heading into the dock. Captains Brad knew just where to take us. Small group is definitely the way to go.

Olga was the perfect guide. She tailored our hike to the abilities and requests of our group of four. She picked us up at the port and drove us to a great trail. It was full of waterfalls, streams, lakes, trees and gorgeous views. She supplied snacks, water and hiking poles. Olga was extremely knowledgeable about the hiking area, Sitka and Alaska in general.
