Saint-Emilion Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

James was a knowledgable and welcoming guide with an interesting perspective on the wine business. The bikes allowed those who were less comfortable on bikes to participate, the other people on our tour were great and the two chateaux chosen were quite different from each other. I would recommend.

Great experience. Cycling was easy and fun. Two wine tastings and a great lunch. Well worth it to see the Saint Emilion area and learn about winemaking.

3 different wine tastings in one tour, expert tour guide named Yev and Olga at Chateau Rol valentine were amazing. They’re both very knowledgeable as well as Chateau chambrun was also very charming. Great experience, great wines and highly recommended.

There are some steep and rocky stairs but they were doable for this 83-year old but would be impossible if one had mobility issues. Our guide Yev was great. I would suggest doing a little research on wine before taking the tour.

James was great guide and bikes were in very good condition. James was very knowledgeable and there was plenty of wine

Great tour. Our guide Yev(sp?) was, friendly, funny, and extremely knowledgeable. We received a healthy amount of wine knowledge and wine tastings. The lunch was delicious. We were extremely satisfied with the excursion and highly recommended it!!

Our guide Yev was so helpful and was full of wonderful knowledge and fun stories. I highly recommend this tour and guide !!

Very well organized. Driver Yev arrived on time for 2 hour drives to St Emilian and back. He is very knowledgeable about wines. Fun and easy riding E-bikes throughout the area. Wine tasting and picnic was well done. September weather was perfect. Highly recommend this trip!

Our guide and driver Dante was excellent!! His in depth wine production and tasting expertise was so helpful in understanding the regions that we saw, the wineries we visited, and the wines we tasted. The wineries were both beautiful and wildly different, enhancing the experience. Would highly recommend.

It was awesome to ride along the vignard and the riding was safe. Amazing vista and great wine tasting and tour. The e-bikes made it even better!

Fantastic day with Mika He choose a very special winery and lunch venue. Bikes were great too.

A wonderful “half-day” (we left the 2nd tasting at 5pm!). Bernadette was informative, knowledgeable and just generally fun.Newish e-bikes, including my Harley Davidson, made this a very enjoyable 25km ride.Chateau visit was superb. Great wines, good tour and excellent lunch in the vineyard. Definitely VFM.And thanks to all our group on the day. You made it even more enjoyable.

We had a wonderful guide who brought us on lovely quiet roads around the vineyards of the St Emilion near Bordeaux. The electric bikes provided made this a very manageable trip for all our group. We had a fabulous lunch in a local restaurant, and visited a vineyard for a guided tour and wine tasting. Next morning our guide met us at our accommodation and brought our small group of 7 on a walking tour of Bordeaux, stopping occasionally for coffee and treats. Our guide was very attentive and knowledgeable and made both of these trips very relaxed and enjoyable

Tour guide Nick was amazing. Sad for future riders as he is retiring in 10 day. The picnic lunch he put together was probably the best we have ever enjoyed. Wine stops were lovely and informative. I highly recommend this tour.

A wonderful tour. Our guide was very competent. The car was nice and clean. Our lunch was arranged by the guide and very good. The tastings were first rate..

We had a great day with Yev. He speaks very good English, explains well ,very knowledgeable n helpful . He prepared cheeseboard lunch n entertained us with stories. He drove back to the 2nd vineyard to collect back my hat which I accidentally left behind . So nice of him ! Really appreciate his service n kindness
