Reno 2026 Calendar of Events

Do not plan to visit Virginia City during bike week. Our tour guide was very good and accomodating. Instead of touring Virginia City we headed to Carson City.

This is a fantastic tour! Tony the tour guide/driver is a wonderful storyteller, historian and photographer! Lots of stops along the way and not at all rushed. Hotel pick-up is great. Lake Tahoe and surrounds is beautiful! Highly recommend this tour if you're in the Reno/Lake Tahoe area!

Very fun and interesting audio guide around Lake Tahoe. The guide was fun and encouraging for us to try some different things like hikes to panoramic views of the lake (which we did and really enjoyed). We did not go too much off the beaten path, but would like to go back and try some other "off the beaten" paths provided by the audio guide.

I've done many, many escape rooms. I was not prepared for this experience. The website says Dr. Ensaine's room is 'immersive' and truly, it is. From start to finish, the atmosphere was disorienting. The lobby is kind of a hallway, which makes you wonder if you are in the right place. We could hear people in other rooms screaming as the host explained the locks and gave us directions. I was nervous before we even got to the room. I don't want to give anything away for anyone who wants to try this room, but let me just say that it was creepy and scary and I actually questioned my safety. All in the best way. I would not bring your kids to this one, though; you'll never get them back into the dentist's office.Just one caution: there are two locations at Legends. One is close to the theater and the other (this one) is all the way across the mall in a weird location that was tough to find. You might want to call for directions. We were rushing across the mall because we went to the wrong one and were afraid to miss our start time. The 2nd location sort of adds to the creepiness because it's not a traditional store front. However, I would have preferred to go straight there.

Marcus is an all-star. He was so well-prepared, and genuinely enthusiastic about his topics. He had copious notes, photos and lots of great stories throughout the 2-hour walking tour. He didn't recite from memory. He told history-based stories that he knew well. I've been on 100+ walking tours in my long life, and Marcus rates among the best tour guides. Bravo performance.

Marcus gave us a fabulous tour of downtown Reno. He was timely, well informed and entertaining. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him. We learned a lot about Reno’s history and would highly recommend this tour and using Biggest Little Walking Tour, Reno, with Marcus.

Gilbert was very knowledgeable about the area and its history. Pickup/drop off was smooth and easy. I recommend this trip.

It was a great show! Chose this for my wedding anniversary tonight. We sat close and it was well worth the price. Excellent for all ages.

Our family of three adult sons, two grandchildren, a 15 year old boy and 13 year old girl, my husband and myself have an annual very special music/dance/theater night. We dress to the nines and have had box seats at the San Francisco Opera House for the Nutcracker Ballet, for example. We splurge once a year together—-this year on Magique in Reno since we were staying together at Lake Tahoe for the holidays. IT WAS THE BEST EVER! And the competition has been tough. First appearances were surprisingly disappointing, I must admit. The Theater is in a corner in a strip mall next to a grocery store. But from there things immediately went up. We were warmly greeted at the box office and special attention had been made to seat all of us grouped together in pairs and three. We had reserved seats because we had the boxes at the front sides of the theater. Although a bit more pricey, we felt they were worth every penny with their comfortable chairs, little tables with a bottle of champagne for the adults and tickets for concessions for the young adults. Mainly they were worth the close up view of the illusions from the side, where we could still not deduce how the illusions occurred in front of our eyes. The illusions, dancing, costumes, effects were all mesmerizing! How did they do it??? The intimacy of the venue made a big time show more special. Because we had box seats, we were treated to a tour of the theater with the magicians afterwards—very fascinating! We are old fashion and a bit theatrical ourselves and chose to dress up for the occasion in long dresses and suits, as did the audience in varying degrees. The performers thanked us for that. We saw sequence and a gentleman in a Florescent orange suit, along with blue jeans. Dress up! It’s fun!Our entire family highly recommends this show! It is fantastic! And as box seats go, these are quite the bargain and well worth the extra price for the view, comfy chairs, champagne, relative privacy, and tour with the magicians. Fantastic night out!

The tour was amazing. The views were breathtaking. I was thrilled to see each of the sites and our guide Gilbert shared a wealth of knowledge! Would highly recommend!

This is a great day tour. We had a tour guide who was one of the best guides I've ever had, his name is Gilbert. He was so knowledgable about the history of Virginia City and Lake Tahoe. It really made the tour more interesting and fun. Gilbert made sure we were comfortable, offering us water, telling us to watch our step when needed etc. We are seniors and this would be a perfect tour for anyone looking for a fun outing near Reno. I'd recommend asking for Gilbert as a guide.

Debbie was excellent. She had a wealth of knowledge not only about paranormal activity , but about the history of early Reno. We had a great time!

We were lucky to have a beautiful evening to do this walking tour! It was great to gain insight on Reno’s past- the dark side filled w lives ruined,learn past acts of revenge & reckoning. So disheartened to learn about the lost of countless lives at that time due to racism. It’s a story telling ghost tour. No scary stuff which is what we wanted.

Daniel was our guide and host for the tasting and it was just amazing especially for the price I paid. I got a lot of bang for my buck with this tour. 10/10 do recommend and make sure you tip the bar tender!

The tour was excellent and Gilbert was super knowledgeable, explaining the history and details of Lake Tahoe and Virginia City. I would recommend this tour to everyone. Don't try to see this important part of our country and its history without expert help and guidance offered by a company like Reno Outdoors.
