We met Erica from Cool Destinations/Cool Destinations. She was right on time and exactly where we were supposed to meet her. She spoke excellent english and she allowed and helped us use or Italian since we were trying to learn. We were exploring Parma and toured the historical section. She was so knowledgable. We went to a historical perfume store, a pasticeria, a deli specializing in Parma Ham products as well as Balsamico, a Parma Formaggio/Cheese, and a resteraunt where we ate 4 types of pasta. We finished at a historical gelateria that used to be a hat store. The old style hats adorn the walls. In case you didn’t notice this was a walking food tour. Erica was THE best and so nice. We would highly recopmmend this tour and Erica.

We had a wonderful trip with our lovely guide, Marta. She was well-acquainted with the food of the region, having worked in several different food-related jobs over the years. She was very knowledgeable of the area. She was kind with a great sense of humor. We appreciated her company. The food was really tasty and we learned a lot about the food-making in Parma. It achieved everything we were looking for. Thank you, Marta!

I have used several self guided tour apps. and this tour on voicemap was my favorite. The navigation feature, as well as the tour, was excellent.

Our tour guide, Ricchardo was absolutely amazing. We explored hidden parts of Parma that will leave you breathless. From painter Correggio's Assumption of the Virgin in the Parma Cathedral to the dome in the Monastery and Church of San Giovanni Evangelista. Riccardo’s historic knowledge of Parma with all of its art and architecture was one of the best tours I have experienced.

This was a great tour. It turned out to be a private tour as we were the only couple with our guide, Kayleigh who was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with Kayleigh and the local knowledge she shared about the cuisine in Parma. The tastings and wine pairings were delicious! We stopped at a market after the tour that Kayleigh advised and brought some of the goodies back home with us!

On Monday, March 30, 2026, a group of Italian teachers had the pleasure of participating in the visit to the Ancient Pharmacy of San Filippo Neri and the Oratory of San Tiburzio. It was truly a fascinating experience, rich in history, art, and inspiration. The Ancient Pharmacy, with its original furnishings, scientific instruments, and testimonies of the charitable activities carried out by the Congregation of Charity, allowed us to take a journey through the history of medicine and pharmacy. Equally surprising was the Oratory of San Tiburzio, a splendid Baroque treasure recently returned to the city, enhanced by the extraordinary installation "Florilegium" by British artist Rebecca Louise Law: a sky of over two hundred thousand flowers that harmoniously interacts with the frescoes and creates an atmosphere of rare beauty. We wish to express particular appreciation to our guide, Ms. Michelle Costa, who, with great competence, passion, and sensitivity, skillfully accompanied us throughout the entire journey. Her explanations, always clear and engaging, connected historical, artistic, and human aspects, making the visit extremely interesting and enjoyable. Her availability and ability to convey enthusiasm significantly contributed to the success of the experience. We had a wonderful tour with Simonetta. As a volunteer English Teacher, she was perfectly clear & eloquent for us English speakers. She is also is born & bred from Parma & knows the town & its history so well. Gave us great recommendations of what to seek out on our own. Also the tour managers were wonderful in accommodating our late arrival from Milan with less than 24 hours notice due to a train strike

Magnificent experience in an equally lovely place in the Piacenza hills. Place next to the Castle of momeliano, magically hidden among the plants that houses the cellars with wines lovingly and intelligently produced. The Tasting is worth in every respect. The sommelier was very nice and kind and explained step by step each wine proposed for tasting and deserves all the congratulations of the case. We hope to return soon to relive this beautiful experience that gave a great value to our day.
