Jamestown Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

This attraction is easy to find in downtown Jamestown. Street parking and friendly staff person who gave us tips and advice. We bought the combination ticket that includes the National Comedy Center. Love look at props and the recreated set scenes. It was all positive with a few TVs showing I Love Lucy skits and personal family times when Lucy and Desi were a happy couple. I was able to recreate the "Vitameatavegamin" skit which is my favorite!!

It was very informative, I watched I Love Lucy and other shows with her in the cast but didn't know about her movies.

We visited on a Saturday afternoon. You could definitely spend days here! It was fascinating. And so much knowledge! The interactive aspects are hysterical!

The National Comedy Center personalizes your experience by assessing your comedic tastes. It was very entertaining and brought back memories of famous comedians. Enjoy The Tonight Show, George Carlin, Late-Night shows, cartoons, TV, film, SNL, Carl Reiner and more. Create a meme, have a laugh battle, act in a TV show, or visit the Blue Room for adult comedy. I spent 6 hours there. Awesome!

We are HUGE I Love Lucy fans and we absolutely loved the museum. We learned so much about Lucy & Desi and the show. Highly recommend all Lucy fans experience this!

Got to learn about how comedians work, and laugh a lot, be prepared to enjoy getting lost and having fun.

Better than anticipated. Highly recommended. We visited on April 30th. Purchased the ticket as part of a package with the Lucy-Desi museum. You can spend an entire day here if not longer. The amount of subject matter is fabulous. Shout out to one of the employees, Tony. Tony is a whirlwind of knowledge and is able to explain a lot of different parts of the museum. THIS IS A MUST SEE!

The museum was awesome, and the staff was very helpful. We have a family member who uses hearing aids, and she struggled to hear the iPod tour using the headset. There was no way to connect the iPod to her hearing aids, which was an bummer. Our cashier, Liz, was able to accommodate us as best as she could. She was very helpful and insightful. We were surprised to hear she hasn’t been working there that long and that she is not from the area as she was very knowledgeable on Lucy and Jamestown. I recommend talking to her and other staff when you get to the museum to get the full scoop on all things Lucille Ball. And Lucille Ball, if you are reading this from heaven, give her a raise!

it was enjoyable... but really the National Comedy Museum is the best. Could have spent all day there if we stopped and took every exhibit in. We did the combo ticket so together it was definitely worth the price and time,

The experience was great. We purchased the photo package for an $10 onsite and had photos in the TV apartment set. One building had Lucy's and Ricky's family history and two buildings down are the TV sets.

FANTASTIC! This museum has so much information and the artifacts are wonderful. The people that work here are very nice.

Fun, informational, interesting, nostalgic and fun!!! I would totally go back again!! Maybe we'll check out the Lucille Ball museum next time!!

The staff was great, so informative and welcoming. A really great museum filled with the history of both Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz from their childhood and on. We are so glad we made the trip! We bought the combo ticket that included the National Comedy Center. It's an immersive interactive experience and worth the visit. We smiled and laughed all day!

If you are a fan of Lucy, this is the place to go.It's a museum all about her life and career. There are fun photo ops in her tv set kitchen, an interesting film, and a gift shop. This is in addition to all the items on display.

We absolutely loved the museum!!! Every employee we encountered was really great and helpful! The lady who took our photos was so charming and personable. We had a fabulous time and would highly recommend. (Kat was extremely nice and helpful)
