Grasse Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

We went to several houses, Molinard had the best quality of scents and the nicest finished product - well worth the cost. The guide helped advise best matches and suggested scents that would compliment what we were building. The end product was a beautiful 50ml spray bottle.

Museum visit accompanied by a very charming guide, free and interesting.I fully recommend it.

Great insight into the world of perfume

We had started the days activities in Nice including a lunch break at Restaurant Renee. We ordered at Taxi from Nice to Grasse which was a pleasant 30 minute drive. The Molinard Perfumery was set into the hills of Grasse from which you can look down the the ocean 15km away. The staff were helpful and were able to explain the afternoons activity in French and English. The package we paid for included instruction of how to choose through a collection of over 100 odours/scents to created a 100ml bottle of custom Perfume. The activity included drinks and snacks. There was also a guided tour through the facility which we also joined.

A great experience at Molinard! My 6-year-old son loved creating his own perfume: he was able to choose from several species that he preferred, which makes the workshop really personalized and fun. The attendant was not paying, which is very appreciative. The setting was friendly and intimate, we were only two families, which allowed to enjoy the activity to the fullest. The staff was friendly, welcoming and pedagogical. An original, creative and unforgettable moment that I highly recommend!

The prestigious workshop deserves its name. I had Marie who is very professional and very caring. I highly recommend this wonderful olfactory experience that allows you to create your unique fragrance and come away with it in a beautiful box signed Molinard.

This tour was one of my favorite stops in Europe. Philippe is an amazing tour guide. So friendly and knowledgeable about the area. His vintage car is so much fun to ride in, very spacious and comfortable. He took us up to Gourdon, a tiny midevil village on the mountain tops where we shopped and had lunch. Tavern provencal has the most beautiful patio over looking the french riviera. This tour is a must!

Our two 8 year old boys did the workshop small perfumer and loved it. The hostess was adorable and explained them very well and took the time to help them (with the equipment). The workshop is limited to 4 children , which is very good. Composition of their perfume, they leave with their fragrance and are very proud. Thank you for this moment, the place is also very nice in the morning at the opening. We will return

My boyfriend and I did the perfume-making experience at Molinard and we loved it! It was a truly original experience that is well worth it. We were able to choose from a huge number of scents and each create our own perfume. At first, we were a little afraid of choosing too many different notes and ending up with a perfume that didn't smell very good, but fortunately, we were very well guided and advised by the team throughout the workshop. In the end, our creations smell divine and really reflect who we are! Plus, we were the only French people in the workshop, but we still felt very welcomed and supported. The team was lovely, available, and truly attentive. The little extra: we received a 20% discount at the shop following the experience, which is really appreciated. And above all, we left with our 50 ml creation, with the possibility of reordering our perfume later on. In short, an experience you absolutely must do if you are visiting Grasse!! We recommend it 100% and we are already looking forward to doing the experience again. ❤️

Grasse is a beautiful town to visit and the Molinard experience was the highlight of the day. It was so much fun to create our own fragrances - our group was 10 yrs to 77 yrs and we all had a great time. I highly recommend it.

Visiting the Olfactory gave more than making custom perfumes , it was a journey into 100yrs of visionary mastery, business experience and legacy rooted in community. I left the Olfactory inspired to build a good legacy .Our tour guide Michele was outstanding and hospitable. Our all English speaking group named one of the perfumes ‘Justin Bieber’ 😆.I recommend this as a must do if you find yourself on the Riviera.

Knowledgeable and charming guide, enjoyable experience. Yes, there is a shop at the end but no particular pressure to buy.

A perfect experience for my 6 and 7 year old boys. It was short, sweet and very hands. The instructor was very good with the children and they enjoyed their time!
