Cancun Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

My friends and I had an amazing time. Caesar our tour guide was absolutely amazing. He not only educated us with amazing history, but he was humorous, authentic, advocative for the Mayan community, knowledgeable, passionate about his work and the history, but also mindful and caring for those who were apart of the tour. Our driver-captain (apologies for not catching his name) was also very sweet and caring. We felt safe the whole trip and had clear instructions and communication throughout the process which made the trip amazing and less stressful. Even though it was a long day, it was full of multiple adventures packed into the day and allowed us to have the real Mexican adventure with both history and nature we were wanting! Thank you so much for everything!☺️

This was a great tour, especially if you’re short on time and just want to see the Mayan ruins at Chichen Itza. Many of the other tours take much longer because they include side trips to a Cenote and etc. But this fit my schedule perfectly. Great, knowledgeable tour guide, bottled water, sodas and snacks as well as sandwiches for lunch provided.

If you don’t mind caves and climbing stairs all day then you’ll definitely enjoy this. Its worth the money. I just didn’t expect to do 7 zip lines back to back. I thought I could choose which ones I wanted to do etc. The buffet had some awesome wings! I do give this a 5 star because I didnt know what to expect but i still saw the value in the park. Im just not big on caves and cant swim 😩🤣 but someone who doesn't mind will love this!

What a fab day we had! Went with four kids, aged 6-14 and they all loved it! The ziplines were amazing – not super high but high enough that it felt thrilling. The ATVs were much more extreme than I'd thought, which my sons thought was great. I must admit I drove a lot more slowly than most, but it was great! Very hot though (August), so definitely suncream before the ATVs. Then the cenote, this was so so beautiful. There was a zipline or jumping platform to get in, as well as a normal flight of steps. THere's a rope in the water so even less confident swimmers can go in (life jackets are mandatory as well). The whole day ran really smoothly. After, there was a lunch and fire show. (We didn't actually eat but it looked good.) As with many other places, they try to sell you the photos after and we bought them because they were actually gorgeous photos! We had an incredible day there.

We had a great experience on this tour. Our guide Alfredo was funny and entertaining you can tell he really enjoys his culture and sharing it with others. The tour was great and then swimming after was refreshing. The food was great and was unlimited buffet. We didn’t do the VIP ticket and I think that was perfect.

The experience was amazing and the whole crew took good care of us. Make sure to bring an umbrella. Only thing is I wish we could have stayed for lunch and swim longer.

Honestly, it’s worth every penny, shoutout to Carlos, our guide, amazing person, super kind and helpful. The equipment were in sharp condition, no complaints at all.

The whole experience was amazing. The pick up at hotel was easy to find. Our guide H was funny and an amazing host. The Zip line was easy. The best part was the ATV good distance and easy to ride.

It was a fun and relaxing experience. We got enough time to tour the island and swim. I went as a solo traveler and would definitely recommend.

Nice experience. Wonderful staff. Small boat, nothing fancy. Took us to 4 locations and saw lots of fish and a couple turtles. Lots of swimming, be prepared it’s quite the workout. Beautiful waters.

Catamaran was the highlight!! I love to boat. Snorkeling was OK, but since the boat was what I wanted, it was fine.

We did the cenote and lagoon tour on our honeymoon. It was around $180.00 for two of us. They do try to get you with a $40 per person photo fee. You can take photos at the lagoon but not the cenote. It was very enjoyable. Pickup was right on time and explained very thoroughly in the email. It was a smooth process. The van was comfortable and spacious. Fernando was sweet and a great driver. We picked up other passengers along the way. There was around 14 of us I believe. We ended up getting to Yal Ku. JJ was a wonderful tour guide explaining natural history and explaining the process of how to snorkel. He helped us spot a sting ray, eel, and many other creatures. We then went to the cenote, which was gorgeous. JJ made sure to explain everything and added humor throughout. It was overall a great experience. Recommend.
