Bruges Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

I collected my tickets within a few seconds of presenting my voucher at the Cruise Express kiosk outside the port terminal that I bough through the Cool Destinations website. The queue for the coach was 30 yards up the road and we were on the coach within 10 minutes. They drop you off at the same coach park that the vast majority of cruises and tours use as it is an easy and direct 10 minutes walk straight into town. We stepped straight onto the coach (without a queue amazingly) on our return journey as we timed our departure well. A very reliable, efficient, and good value cruise port transfer service which we have used three time now.

Steve gave us a wonderful overview and positive experience in his entertaining tour of this beautiful city, Bruges. He interspersed history and humor, and gave the group some wonderful highlights to take home with us. Without a doubt, this is the best walking tour that my partner and I have ever done. What a great way to be introduced to a city. Alistair was fantastic - really knowledgeable and engaging to listen to. Definitely recommend it to everyone, history buff or not!

Easy to find on the port. Drop off area was close to the city centre. A member of the staff met us to make sure we got on the correct bus.

Hilde spoke excellent English, had abundant knowledge about the history of Bruges and made great jokes!

This was one of our favorite tours on our month long trip of Europe. Our guide was personable and entertaining. I only wish I could remember her name!! We were able to easily fill the rest of our days in Bruges with her recommendations.

Inder provided a great tour of Bruges and gave a good amount of history. The tour was walking at a comfortable pace. Inder also gave several excellent recommendations for local places to have a beer, purchase chocolate, and grab a bite for dinner & waffle based on our request. I would recommend Inder to give you a tour of Bruges!

We had a wonderful day exploring Bruges and Ghent. The tour was well organized, and it was especially nice to have enough free time to walk around and explore on our own. The beer tasting and Belgian waffles were a fun touch, and our guide shared interesting details about the history and architecture without making the tour feel like a lecture.

Steve led a really fun, educational, and delicious sampling of the essence of Bruges and its historical high points. Would recommend for anyone. He did a great job of engaging with each person on the tour, and getting us to engage with each other.

The tour guide "Inder" was great. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and thoughtful. The tour took about 2 hours. The pace was perfect and there was Belgian chocolate at one stop.
