Bruges Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Great way to learn about the history of magical Bruges. Our guide Celine was excellent and very knowledgeable.

My tour with Mauricio was incredible! He was an amazing storyteller and very informative! I learned more on his tour than my last three tours combined. I’m so glad I did his first, all the knowledge he shared added so much to my trip. He also gave very practical advice on which museums were worth seeing. We spent a fantastic two and a half hours with our guide, Gosha, exploring the city. She made a pouring rain morning into a fun introduction to the city. Gosha was a great storyteller who knew so much about Bruges obviously a place she loves. She was full of interesting information and introduced us to beautiful sites and activities. She gave us suggestions of places to explore further on our own, which we did. Never have we had a more enthusiastic guide!!!

The tour guide "Inder" was great. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and thoughtful. The tour took about 2 hours. The pace was perfect and there was Belgian chocolate at one stop.

Great experience. Our guide, Kim, was fantastic. The ride from Brugge to Damme was so nice. Stopped at a nice winery along the way. Relaxed in Damme after touring their beautiful cathedral. We highly recommend this excursion!

Easier and cheaper than that offered by the cruise operator

We had a wonderful tour with the nicest young man Maelvuud ( sorry for spelling errors). In 1 day, he efficiently helped us to see all the highlights Ghent and Bruges had to offer. The history, canals and architecture are stunning. Highly recommend this tour.

Pascal was a great guide who went above and beyond to keep the tour interesting and fun. We visited parts of Bruges that we didn’t see on any other tour!

We booked a coach transfer with Cool Destinations from the Zeebrugge cruise terminal into Bruges town centre . It was very convenient and well organised and mindful of getting us back to the ship for sail away. Would recommend this transfer .

Easy stroll of Bruge. Virginia was informative and knowlegeable. She was also considerate of everyone’s needs. Enjoyed the beer tasting. We were able to do the boat tour the next day due to rain.
