A little tucked away but well worth it, great experience friendly hosts and abit of local fun and knowledge

It was a very fun experience in the host made it very relaxing. He was great at helping you decide on design or fix your design.

The course was a wonderful experience! Clive was a very attentive and warm host who explained everything clearly and with great patience. The atmosphere in his house was relaxed and creative, making one feel comfortable right away. I really enjoyed the afternoon and took great pleasure in creating my own little artwork. What I found particularly nice was that at the end, one could take home a handmade Maltese souvenir.

It was a calming space to paint tiles. Clive was knowledgeable, supportive and very kind. We all had a really good time and were happy with our experience. Would recommend for anyone in Malta who wants a traditional Maltese experience from a local.

Clive was such a gracious host and facilitator. He made us feel comfortable and provided an orientation to his small studio. Clive combined art instruction with history and personal anecdotes to make for an interesting and fun experience. We had a fantastic time and recommend this workshop highly.

Wonderful 2 hours of learning about the history of Malta tiles and their traditional designs. And then painting my own tile while sipping tea, listening to relaxing music and chatting with Clive. I can only recommend as a fun hands-on art experience while holidaying in Malta. I chose a very Christmassy design for my tile and will keep it as a great souvenir.

Clive is welcoming, smiling, passionate. Incredibly generous. If you are staying in Valletta, do not hesitate to meet Clive for a second. You will leave calm, accompanied by a nice Maltese souvenir. With bonus, plenty of tips to visit the island. Thank you Clive!!

This was a lovely way to spend a couple of hours. The artists workshop was interesting and quirky. The artist is really cool and as a local has interesting information about this island. The tile making is really relaxing and therapeutic- and a super souvenir. Highly recommended.

Brilliant little break from the hustle and bustle of Malta to focus and enjoy painting tiles with Clive. Highly recommend for couples and families as a fun activity!

Clive was a warm host, who made our experience amazing! I was travelling to Malta with family friends, one of whom was a teenager interested in crafts (like me!). We selected this activity together, as it looked very interesting. The activity was set in the ground floor of a wonderfully eclectic and artistic house that Clive is slowly refurbishing. Clive explained the traditional method of making tiles, and he helped us select a traditional pattern to paint onto our tiles. We also spoke about the Maltese art scene, he answered all of our questions about Malta art and culture, talked about Clive's art and differing styles, and overall we had a lovely afternoon. Many thanks again Clive!
