Lucerne 2026 Calendar of Events

Our tour with Gulizebo (Serafina) was outstanding. She was an absolute delight and was filled with tons of knowledge about Lucerne. Our tour moved at an appropriate pace and she took the necessary time to answer our many questions. What a terrific day! We HIGHLY recommend her and the tour!!

This is a must-see tour. Our guide was so well-versed on the history (dates, persons involved, etc.). It’s a lot of walking with some inclines and a lot of stairs, so be prepared. We got tips for places to eat. Learned so much more about the Reformation, why the Vatican used Swiss guards, and how the country listens to its citizens).

Don't hang all your expectations on Lauterbrunnen. Where beautiful, it was overcrowded. Wengen and Grindelwald were much better experiences and just as charming.Our guide, Priscilla, was beyond WONDERFUL! We would book with her again in a heartbeat!

Not a guided tour. A lovely trip around the lake on a beautiful boat! Only takes an hour. Nice transport to the Stoos train!

My husband and I have traveled every possible method of transportation while visiting Lucerne and this has been our favorite way to travel by far. The coach is small, quiet, Clean and air conditioned which is great in a heat wave which we have been experiencing. That said, the tour was stunning and our guide was very helpful. Would highly recommend.

Great way to explore the surroundings of Lucerne. The Lake is so big! Our guide did. A great job making the transportation changes so smooth and was very informative as well. Lake Cruise very relaxing

This is a very relaxing scenic and pleasant trip. No effort needed and great option for those that may be a little concerned with riding a gondola or cog railroad up a mountain. The views were great.

A great hotel one of the best I have ever been to

Nico our tour guide was amazing and very personable. The whole tour was very relaxed and not rushed at all. He took us to local markets to try chocolates and grab lunch fro the train ride. The train was nice and we had beautiful view along the way to Interlaken. Interlaken is nice but it felt very touristy, so we did not hang there to much longer after the tour.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our day tour with Katarina! Lucerne and Interlaken are both beautiful cities with unmatched natural beauty! Katarina was very knowledgeable and fun, she made the experience unforgettable. I highly recommend this tour!

Great tour of Luzern with Alexandra, complete and plenty of fun facts

When my wife and I arrive in a new (to us) city, we love having a private guide walk us through some of the main sites, provide some history and suggest places to go and eat that not every tourist will visit. Alexandra was a perfect fit for you. We covered some of the important landmarks but she also pointed out some hidden gems like the Sammlung Rosengart which has over 300 original pieces of Pablo Picasso and Paul Klee. A wonderful and warm history of how this artwork was donated primarily from a single family who had personal relationships with the artists. With outside temps at 95 degrees, this also made for a very pleasant escape from the heat. Alexandra. also recommended the Taube restaurant not far from the Chapel bridge. We heard from many in Lucerne, even the private chef from our cooking class, that this was one of the finest restaurants serving authentic Swiss cuisine. Even though the ambience is very casual, the food and service were top notch. Alexandra is passionate about guiding. She is actively developing ways for the tour to be more engaging with self discovery and creative ways to connect to the city. Do not hesitate to book a time with Alexandra. She will provide you with an amazing experience and introduction to Lucerne.

Amazing out of this world and to sit at the restaurant at the top for lunch just blew my mind. Well worth the trip. Gettin to ride on top of the cabriolet was awesome, even with my fear of heights
