Liddia is an absolute delight! She came to the class at short notice as another teacher was unable to attend. She’s a natural teacher who is patient, friendly and kind to her students.I genuinely recommend the pizza and gelato making class - best I’ve ever had and I made it myself! I was a fairly skeptical husband on my wife wanting me to go to the cooking class with her. I’m not a cook and don’t go into the kitchen other than to grab a beer… This was a lot of fun. The chef is a really good guy and it is a very worthwhile program. The food was delicious. The house was fantastic and I didn’t even look on my phone for football scores one time… Highly recommend even for skeptical husbands.

This was a fantastic experience- would highly recommend. Giuseppe was such a lovely host and took us round the market to buy ingredients and then back to his family home to cook. Food was delicious, lots of chat and laughing and we just had the best time. Thank you Giuseppe and also Christina who was fantastic cook also.

We had an absolutely wonderful time with Giuseppe. It started with a walk through the Ortigia market deciding the menu then selects the very best and freshest ingredients. Then a quick ride to his family’s country home to prepare several courses Starting with an aperol spritz alongside an antipasto plate that reflected the traditional cheeses and sausage of Sicily. A Primi of a lovely pasta with shrimp followed by an eggplant incoltini as well as a veal stuffed with speck and mozzarella. ending with a fresh peach iced sorbet to. All accompanied by fresh bread and an excellent white wine. We enjoyed the class but even more the feeling of being a part of the family. Would recommend without any hesitation!

A Delicious Way to Taste Palermo
We had a fantastic food tour of Palermo with Dario. What made the experience so good was that this was much more than simply walking around and trying different foods.Dario made a point of showing us the food of Palermo rather than just “Sicilian food,” and he used what we were eating to tell the story of the city. He explained Sicily’s incredible agricultural history, its importance as a breadbasket of the Roman Empire, and the influences that later came from the Arabs and the many other cultures that have occupied the island. He is extremely knowledgeable, but equally important, he is funny and knows how to tell the stories without making the tour feel like a history lesson.We started near Porta Carini and walked through Mercato del Capo, trying crocchè and panelle made from chickpea flour. We had stigghiola—grilled intestines—in Vucciria, arancine at Ke Palle, and eventually the famous Palermo spleen sandwich, pani câ meusa. I can’t say the spleen sandwich was our favorite thing we ate, but I’m very glad Dario had us try it! We finished with a wonderful cannolo and espresso.The pacing was excellent throughout. We never felt rushed, but we also never stood around wondering what was next. Dario knew exactly where to go, what we should try, and the history and story behind each thing we ate.We came away having eaten extremely well, laughed a lot, and—most importantly—understanding Palermo and its food much better than we did when we started.If you are visiting Palermo, I would absolutely recommend spending a few hours with Dario. This was one of the highlights of our time here.

Fantastic! Chef mimmo and staff were excellent. Fun, helpful and very informative. Not only did we eat great food, we met his Mom. Little mimmo made me feel so special because this was my first time making pasta and had no idea what to do lol We also met very many nice people. Book this experience, you won't regret it!!!!

What a great time we had with Chef Mimi and his family and staff. The experience was amazing. We got to make our own meals and learned some really valuable skills during the experience. Then the best part the feast he and his staff put out for us to eat. All I can say is come hungry. Bravo Mimmo.!!!

We had the best time with Chef Ugo! He is very passionate about his craft and explained everything very well. It was just the 2 of us and it truly is in his garage/lab as he calls it! We made 2 different pastas and tiramisu. All were very delicious and I would highly recommend this if you want a cooking class in Palermo!

Excellent experience . Frédéric’ was an excellent guide. Enjoyed the olive grove and olive tasting. The only suggestion was to better figure out the organization of the meeting point (or perhaps have less people to make it easier)

Had a great cooking class experience with Carlo. He showed my girlfriend and I how to make pasta and cannolis from scratch. He also took us through his garden and we picked fresh vegetables for a caprese salad. Would highly recommend and go back if I got the chance.

Great experience with a fun group. Chef Mike put together a perfect menu. We cooked the meal (lunch) as a group, mostly chopping ingredients. Taking us to the Capo Market gave us a real local feel. Chef Mike gave us so many cooking tips and perspectives and was so patient answering questions.
