Awesome experience! Most beautiful views winding down the Snake River!! Overall more fun than I expected. Even saw a couple Bald Eagles to boot!!

From the time I contacted Fish the Fly guide service it was a great experience. JB, the owner guides us and was an amazing experience. Water was flowing at a fast rate, but JB took us to many side channels and we caught some nice cutthroat trout. They weren’t trophy size, but I’ve been fly fishing for 68 years and it isn’t about huge fish - the tug is the drug. The scenery was outstanding and JB knows the water. I would highly recommend Fish the Fly guide service out of Jackson WY.

Allan, our knowledgeable guide, set the tone for the day through conversations in the days leading up to our trip to learn our goals for the day. With a new knee, I was confident that he would keep me comfortable as we wet-waded/hiked five miles. Our goals included improving our casting technique and ability to “read” the water. Check! Oh, and we stopped counting how many fish we landed while appreciating all that nature offered for our Mom/daughter adventure.

A fantastic day with Austin on the Salt River

Great Time on the Salt River. Austin was a very knowledgeable and patient guide, with a great sense of humor.

Alan was amazing with my mom and me. He was so kind and gave great tips for improving our casts, reading the river, and overall great conversation. My mom recently had her knee replaced and he took extra care to lend an arm for her while moving around the current.

My wife & I hd a fabulous time fishing with Henry! He was very familiar with the water & adjusted our fly fishing to every condition. Henry was a really fun, experienced & personable guide for our 2 days of fishing. We will not hesitate to use Henry in the future & look forward to our next trip!

Had a very successful and fun morning of fishing on the snake river. Our guide Kevin was great. We had never fly fished before, he talked us through a few strategies and techniques. He helped point out good spots to target and my girlfriend caught her first ever fish, an ~8 inch cutthroat trout. We also caught a few other fish, and we saw several bald eagles.

Mike was a great guide! Personable, knowledgeable and made it fun for the kids.

My husband and son did the Backcountry fly fishing full trip with Tracy. It was amazing! They had the best time! She was super knowledgeable and engaging! Very patient with our 12 year old son. Moderate hiking was involved. She knew all the best places to fish in early August!

Our guide was very knowledgeable. He had a great strategy for teaching us the basics. We enjoyed our locations. It was beautiful and rewarding. My grandson loved it.

Had a great 1/2 day with our guide Austin. We didn't catch many fish, but then again, we were both beginners, so I'm sure that had a lot to do with it! Regardless a really fun morning.

Novice on a fly rod. Michael was very helpful and patient. I gave him some good tangles, and he had to watch my indicator twitch with a lot of missed sets. I learned a ton in a beautiful area. I hope to apply what I learned to my local rivers and streams and make it back to Wyoming soon.
