In Western Wyoming near the Idaho state line, the mountain resort town of Jackson is set in a narrow valley between the Gros Ventre and Teton mountain ranges. Originally named Jackson’s Hole by the mountain men and fur trappers of the early 1800s, the name comes from David Edward “Davy” Jackson, a beaver trapper and one of the first European-Americans to spend an entire winter in the valley. Now, Jackson is major tourist and mountain recreation center famed for its western atmosphere, the Jackson Hole, Snow King, and Grand Targhee ski resorts, easy access to Grand Teton and Yellowstone national parks, and world-class accommodations, shopping, and dining.

This tour was the best part of our Jackson visit. We hadn't booked a private tour, but because of others traveling together we were lucky to tour with Eric by ourselves. He gave us so much information and made sure we were able to find wildlife. It was such a wonderful experience I would definitely book with Eco Tour again and would request Eric as our guide, although I believe all the guides love what they do and make sure the guests have a wonderful time. Lots of information as our guide was super helpful. Spotted a moose right as we left town so to speak, bison, coyotes and elk. Beautiful scenery for sure… loved our tour and will do it again!

Ben was an awesome tour guide! He is very knowledgeable of everything in the area. We saw bison, elk and somehow Ben spotted a bald eagle! Picnic lunch was fresh and good. So many amazingly gorgeous spots that we stopped at for photos. Jenny Lake was breathtaking and our favorite.

We have taken tours all over the world, including African Safaris. We have never enjoyed a tour as much as our four hour private sunrise tour with Sienna as our guide. Her knowledge of the area, geology, wild life, history, ecology, and geography of the entire Yellowstone ecosystem was phenomenal. She knew where to go to find the wild life we hoped to see and didn’t hesitate to change course when something exciting appeared. We would highly recommend Eco Tour Adventures to anyone, the price was well worth the experience! The booking office staff was exceptional and, again, we cannot say enough wonderful things about Sierra as a guide. If you want an unforgettable experience, this is the company to choose. Especially if Sienna is available.

We weren’t able to go into the national forest because of elk season, but it was still a great experience! The staff seemed very knowledgeable and the views were beautiful!

The scenery. I wished we saw more. Didn’t know it was hunting season and we couldn’t take usual route. Didn’t need to go on the road up a hill just to turn around and go back down the road. Wish we had more into a nature trail

Drew was our guide and he was fabulous. We saw a ton (18?) of moose! So many elk and bison and prong horns He was very kind and knowledgeable. Took us to many areas and we got history of the park and animals. Also delicious coffee and snacks. Just four of us in a very comfortable van with great viewing. We would highly recommend Drew and Ecotours.

Jeff Brown was great! He connected everyone on the shuttle bus together and gave us great info about the area and Cody Brown from Sister Wives lol! We had a great time! Saw some amazing wildlife and scenery. Everyone loved the sandwiches and cookies!

Ok, the scenery is obvious....fabulous. Kyle gave us the tour, and I can't speak highly enough of him or the tour. His knowledge of the area, history and above all finding various animals off the beaten path (close up Moose couple first thing upon entering the park) was wonderful. Thanks Kyle!

Excellent trip! Ben, out tour guide was personable, informative and accommodating. We saw. A bull moose, a female moose, elk, dear, prong horns and a bear! I would highly recommend Eco Tour Adventures!
