Absolutely first class tour. I booked it willingly, and I certainly like olives, but wondered how interesting a tour of an olive factory could be - very, is the answer, and it is all due to the passion, knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject by our guide. The tasting at the end is fantastic and very sociable. This is a family business and a joy to behold. Go a bit early and enjoy a drink and/or a wander around the gift shop.

This tour was fabulous and informative. Andrea is amazing with true passion for her work and giving these tours. The tasting is so good, especially knowing how the menus are prepared. What a great experience.

This cooking experience was delightful. I was paced really well and included a trip to the market, class, and lunch. Insights into the food, how to prepare it, and other tips about drying herbs were shared by Alexandra as she helped us cook our first Cataplana. The 4 hours flew by and the result delicious... including the starters and desert provided by the restaurant. Thank you.

We started the class in the Faro market where Chef Alexandra taught us about the history of the market and the agriculture of the Algarve. We had previously taken a cataplana cooking class in another region of the country so this background was helpful in us better understanding the dish as well as the Algarve region. After our time in the market, we went to Tertulia where we had a delicious regional snack of muxama (dried tuna) while Chef Alexandra prepped for our class. The restaurant was accommodating of my gluten allergy. We then went into the cooking classroom area above the restaurant where we learned more about cooking and food traditions in the Algarve as we prepared our meal. We then returned to the restaurant and had regional appetizers, our cataplana, roasted potatoes, dessert, wine, and coffee. This was an educational, fun, and delicious was to spend the day in Faro. Tertulia’s atmosphere is wonderful and the staff were attentive. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We also came away with a restaurant recommendation for our next stop in Tavira, which was equally enjoyable.

Was given the coordinates for the picnic the evening before, we drove up to the area and were met by a beautiful hamper of local foods and wine. Set out with table mats and fruits, looked fantastic. I saw this before our trip and used it to propose to my partner ❤️

Daniel is a passionate guide, full of humor and knowledge. We discover an authentic Algarve, far from mass tourism. The sunset over the water was absolutely splendid.

Exceptional visit to Ria Formosa! Daniel will explain everything and his boat is very comfortable. Do not hesitate, it is the best!

We took the family up to Monchique, had a great day , a spectacular picnic on the mountain, well worth it! The kids had great fun and the view was spectacular

We had a super cool private Tour with a very nice guide today ! We decided for kayaking as the wind was rough this day - so we started our tour to the oysters and did some sport :) While looking at the nature and getting some insides about the sea life we slowly made our way to the oyster banks. We got all the insides on how to grow this yummy treat and handpicked some huge oysters for us to eat later. Back at the surf club we learned how to open them and had a nice snack with some sparking white wine ! It was a perfect vacation experience - thanks ! :)

We had a wonderful time kayaking to the oysterbanks. Sé (from José) was very friendly, patient, had a lot of information to tell, was very nice and interesting, so we had a perfect trip thanks to him. We enjoyed his explainations and ofcourse the oystertasting with Portugees sparkling wine! The oysters were amazing, the best i ever had, i think. A truly wonderful experience and highly recommended! The visit to this olive producer was both interesting and enjoyable, giving us the opportunity to discover the world of olives and learn many fascinating facts we didn’t know before. Our guide was excellent: knowledgeable, passionate, and able to share her enthusiasm throughout the visit. The tasting at the end was generous and delightful, offering a wonderful journey through the flavors and aromas of the Algarve. An authentic, informative, and delicious experience that made us appreciate the quality of the local products even more. Definitely not to be missed!

This tour was really intresting and the guide was fenomenal! We really liked to tasting different olives, the spicy sauce, bread and the Wine.

Truly of the beaten track, first class service, only in private but not in a ostentatious and profligate manner, surely not for the arriviste. We took the Tapas tour with visit to the oyster beds. Impecable hosts (crew), classy and charming boat full of history. The Ria Formosa lagoon is a very peaceful and beautiful place, one of the most beautiful I've seen in the Algarve. The visit to the oyster place to taste them with regional wine is priceless, really surprising. Recommendation?! I would be onboard tomorrow.... and again the day after if I could.

A very nice walk through nature and the islands. The guides explain well and the boat is comfortable and safe. Rating they know the area. Perfect for disconnecting and enjoying the scenery.
