Budapest 2026 Calendar of Events

We had been in Budapest a few days and as yet had not booked a trip. After seeing the queues for the other larger boats we decided we would go with the paddle steamer as it was alot smaller. It was great. We went for the 8.30 pm trip to see the river all lit up and was worth every penny or HUF. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Will do it again if we go back. Even in Sept it was cold so make sure you wrap up.

I had a wonderful experience on the Budapest Jewish Heritage Tour with Benjeman. He was knowledgeable, patient, and very professional. As we walked through the Jewish Quarter and visited the synagogues and memorials, the history felt deeply personal, not just facts, but stories of real families and communities. Benjeman shared everything with care and respect, it was both educational and moving. I highly recommend this tour, especially with Benjeman.

Brilliant evening boat cruise on the Danube, it is unlimited drinks, fantastic views particularly when it got dark and the buildings are illuminated. There was a recorded guide inside the boat (which has huge windows and great views from all the tables) which we weren't expecting which gave succinct details of each of the sights. We stuck to the Prosecco as I tried the Limoncello Spritz but it was more like Bitter Lemon drink. We didn't try the beer or Aperol. You can have as many drinks as you like. Crew were efficient and organised and we found the meeting point easily. Well worth the money.

Maros was an excellent guide. He mixed in historical facts and some personal history along with good humour. He spoke clearly and looked after the group. I would recommend this tour.

It was a nice ride with beautiful scenery and informational narration. It was also very fairly priced.

The dusk cruise was Amazing, get there early to get to sit in the upper deck, this cruise line was very accommodating as we got stuck in traffic, they changed our tickets right away to the next day bu just messaging . Very happy amd a must do

This tour with drinks was a perfect start to our night in Budapest!! Indoor and outdoor seating available which was nice as it rained a bit.

Agnes our tour guide was fantastic! So passionate about her city and we loved the "unofficial" urban legends!

This was an excellent experience with much interesting Hungarian history mixed with humorous stories. I highly recommend this.

The group was large, but even so the tour guide could be easily heard and she was very knowledgeable. It's a great way to get an overview of the Pest side of the city.

Book it! Food fantastic! Wait staff, so lovely, live music was awesome, and the views were spectacular. Best way to see Budapest

He brought history and heritage to life in an interesting and meaningful way Josh was incredibly inclusive, engaging and approachable His knowledge was exceptional.
