Welcome to Wisconsin Dells

Wisconsin Dells is a small town on the Wisconsin River in south-central Wisconsin. A scenic 5-mile-long river gorge north of town features unique Cambrian sandstone rock formations called “dalles” by early French explorers. The first boat tours of the gorge were offered in 1856, and “The Dells” is now a popular Midwestern tourist destination known as the waterpark capital of the world. The town has the largest concentration of outdoor and indoor waterparks on the planet as well as the largest waterpark in the U.S. Visitors enjoy a wide variety of resorts, land and water tours including the famous WWII-era Dells Ducks amphibious vehicles, and endless dining and shopping options in a walkable downtown.
